Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the 2nd episode of WWE Smackdown: Bound for Greatness! I'm very pleased to have all of you join me for this wonderous occasion. As most of you all know, this past weekend, Juan, Greg Bush, and I hosted our own special script of the way WWE Hell In A Cell should've been written.
I just hope I can continue to entertain you all as good as my first run here in the B/R Community! So everyone just sit back, grab some snacks, and relax as I take you all through what's expected to be a very amazing episode of Smackdown!
The opening shows a video recap of Smackdown's side of Hell In A Cell. And the shocking ending that resulted in CM Punk retaining the World Heavyweight Championship Title!
The screen then shows the opening video with the theme plays as the pyro goes off tremendously! The arena is sold out and Smackdown is underway.
J.R.: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another explosive evening of WWE Smackdown! I'm good ol' J.R. Jim Ross and I'm joined by my colleague Todd Grisham! And tonight I think we all deserve an explanation for what happened to former Intercontinental Champion John Morrison and former No.1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, The Undertaker!
Todd: Well, I'm glad you mentioned that because I just got word from our executives that tonight Mr. Vince McMahon is here tonight and he has promised that tonight he will make a huge announcement that has to do with Hell In a Cell and the future of the WWE Smackdown brand!
J.R.: Oh my God! I hope we keep our jobs Grish, I have a family to take care of, I just bought a new car!
Todd: Let's all hope so indeed, but first we will have a huge one-on-one match to open tonight's show!
Roberts: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first from San Diego, California, accompanied by The Animal Batista, ladies and gentlemen please welcome back, Rey Mysterio!
(Mysterio comes out in a black and yellow mask. While Batista is in street clothing.)
Roberts: And his opponent, he's one half of the Unified Tag-Team Champions, from Manhasset, New York, accompanied by one half of the Unified Tag-Team Champions, The Big Show, Chris Jericho!
(Jericho makes his slow and ominous entrance to the ring, looking as cocky as ever.)
Grudge Match
One on One Singles Match:
Chris Jericho w/ The Big Show vs Rey Mysterio w/ Batista
Jericho and Mysterio meet in the center of the ring. They begin exchanging words and they both back away as the bell sounds. They lock up with Mysterio getting the better of the two with a headlock. Jericho bounces Mysterio off of the ropes and knocks him down with a shoulder block.
While Mysterio is still down, Jericho bounces off of the ropes and hops over Mysterio to bounce off of the ropes on the opposite side. Mysterio gets to his feet and hops over the running Jericho. As soon as Jericho returns, Mysterio quickly takes Jericho down with an arm drag.
While Mysterio has Jericho looked in an arm bar, Jericho slowly gets up to his feet. Jericho flips forward and takes Mysterio down with a fireman's carry and he goes for the cover, 1.. Mysterio kicks out and Jericho locks in a headlock. Mysterio slowly makes his way to his feet and drops down to his knees and hits a jawbreaker on Jericho.
Jericho stumbles back into a corner. Mysterio quickly runs over to Jericho and and lands a huge monkey toss on Jericho, but Jericho lands on his feet. As soon as Mysterio turns around to Jericho, hits a huge hip toss on Mysterio, but Mysterio lands on his feet.
We cut to commercial.
We return and Jericho runs to Mysterio, but he hits a drop toe hold on Jericho and rolls up and locks in a headlock. Jericho slowly began to make it up to his feet. As soon as he got up to his feet, he hits a huge back body drop with a bridge pin. 1...2.. Mysterio rolls out of the pin with the head lock still intact.
Jericho uses his legs and wraps them around the neck of Mysterio and Mysterio releases the head lock, and flips around in the scissors hold that Jericho has locked on. Mysterio flips forward and pins Jericho with a bridge, 1..2.. Jericho and Mysterio rises up off of the mat and Jericho turns it into a backslide pin.
1..2.. Mysterio kicks out and Jericho quickls wraps his arms around the sternum of Mysterio and squeezes extremely tight. Mysterio slowly rises to his feet while Jericho still has the hold locked in. Jericho drives Mysterio into the ropes and tries to roll him up backwards, but Mysterio hangs on to the top rope.
