Dodgers Reportedly Trying to Sell Naming Rights on Field at Dodger Stadium
The Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly seeking $12 million per season for the naming rights to the field at Dodger Stadium, according to SportsBusiness Journal's Terry Lefton.
However, the team has made it clear it has no intention of selling the naming rights to the stadium itself.
"That has never been for sale," team president Stan Kasten said of the stadium naming rights, per the Los Angeles Times' Bill Shaikin.

"We'e not worried about any discussions that we're having now being a problem," Kasten added. "We're not selling the name of the stadium. That's the only thing I'm willing to tell you."
Citing sources, Lefton reported the naming-rights firm Entitle has been "quietly selling the package for the Dodgers."
Lefton added the team's ownership group, Guggenheim Partners, "is under considerable revenue pressure" after purchasing the franchise for north of $2 billion in 2012.
Before the start of spring training, Shaikin reported ownership was exploring the possibility of selling a small share in the team.
