Liverpool Transfer News: Lucas Leiva Bid from Lazio Reportedly Accepted
Liverpool have reportedly accepted a £5 million offer from Serie A club Lazio for the services of midfielder Lucas Leiva.
The move would see Lucas end his 10-year tenure at Anfield, as Sky Sports News HQ confirmed his Italian suitors had taken a significant step toward taking him away from Merseyside:

Lucas arrived at Liverpool from Brazilian outfit Gremio in 2007 and has gone on to make 346 appearances for the Reds, although his only trophy with the club is the League Cup, which the Reds won in 2012.
Now 30, Lucas' prominence at Liverpool has gradually lessened in recent years, but Anfield HQ writer Leanne Prescott nevertheless paid tribute to a devoted servant as he approaches the club's exit door:
The veteran developed a reputation as a steady anchoring midfielder following his arrival on Merseyside but has come to fill in at centre-back on occasion when required.
Lazio made their move for the Brazilian after losing a South American general of their own, as explained by the Guardian's Fabrizio Romano:
Manager Jurgen Klopp will hope to use the funds gained from Lucas' nearing sale in an effort to improve his options at Anfield. The Independent's Ed Malyon reported on Friday that RB Leipzig had rejected a club-record £57.3 million bid from the Reds for midfielder Naby Keita.
Lucas is on the verge of leaving Anfield for Italy's top flight, where he might have a greater chance at first-team minutes at the Stadio Olimpico.
