Arsenal Transfer News: Olivier Giroud Reportedly Wanted by Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund are reportedly eyeing a move for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should the Gabonese striker make his expected move to Chelsea.
According to John Cross in the Mirror, Giroud, 30, has concerns about his Arsenal future following the £52 million arrival of Alexandre Lacazette at the Emirates Stadium and could be offered a way out by BVB.
Cross added, though, that any move to Dortmund for Giroud will hinge on Aubameyang's departure, while Everton, West Ham United, Marseille and AC Milan are also showing interest in the France international.

Giroud played a more limited role in manager Arsene Wenger's Arsenal side last season following Alexis Sanchez's conversion from winger to No. 9.
In his four previous seasons with the Gunners, Giroud had started at least 21 Premier League games per campaign, but in 2016-17 he was only named in the starting lineup 11 times in the English top flight.
He was effective when he did play, netting 12 league goals in 1,198 minutes of action and taking his chances in clinical fashion, per WhoScored.com:
However, following the arrival of Lacazette, it is clear Giroud is no longer the first-choice striker at Arsenal and a move to Dortmund could allow him more game time ahead of next summer's FIFA World Cup.
