Ed Woodward Reportedly off Man United Tour to Seal Ivan Perisic, Eric Dier Deals
Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has reportedly skipped the club's pre-season tour to the United States in order to seal deals for Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic and Tottenham Hotspur's Eric Dier, worth a combined £95 million.
According to the Mirror's David McDonnell, the Red Devils are set to make a "take-it-or-leave-it final offer" of £45 million for winger Perisic and hope to succeed despite Inter's demands for £50 million.
The 28-year-old is eager for the Nerazzurri to sanction his move to United, while the Manchester giants will attempt to sign Spurs midfielder Dier in a deal worth £50 million, McDonnell added.

United have been linked with the Croatia international since the start of the summer, and the aim is to get the transfer over the line before Inter travel to China next week, per James Ducker of the Telegraph:
Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho is eager to add him to his squad, with Perisic's versatility likely a key attraction.
He is most comfortable on the left flank but can also play on the right side or as a No. 10. He netted 11 goals and provided eight assists in Serie A last term, per WhoScored.com.
Adding Perisic to the United squad would give Mourinho another option out wide in addition to Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Juan Mata.
England international Dier, meanwhile, would come in as a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick and potential partner for Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera in the United engine room.
Per United, Carrick has just been made club captain following Wayne Rooney's return to Everton:
However, he will be 36 years old on July 28 and is nearing the end of his career.
United need a new permanent option to play in the deep-lying midfield role, and Dier, 23, could be the ideal candidate given his impressive performances for Spurs over the last three seasons.
Per Jamie Jackson and David Hytner in the Guardian, Dier is "open to the prospect of a move to Manchester United," but Spurs will not countenance letting him go.
