L'Equipe (h/t Metro) previously reported Fabinho had his mind set on a move to Old Trafford.
Per L'Equipe, United had expressed a real interest in Fabinho, but AS Monaco had no interest in letting him walk for a price below market value, as he still has four years left on his contract.
