Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United Transfer Reportedly Agreed for £75M
Manchester United on Thursday reportedly agreed a fee of £75 million with Everton for striker Romelu Lukaku.
According to Simon Stone of BBC Sport, the deal also means the Red Devils are set to end their pursuit of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata:

On Wednesday, Matt Lawton of the Daily Mail reported that United were ready to rival Chelsea in pursuit of the Belgium forward. Stone also suggested United used the Blues' interest to their advantage:
Stone added that United are hopeful of getting a deal wrapped up before they set off on their pre-season tour on Sunday. It's also stated the transfer will be independent of any deal Everton do for United skipper Wayne Rooney.
According to Paul Joyce of The Times, United are poised to pay an initial £75 million fee, followed by performance-based add-ons for Lukaku.
The Red Devils' interest in the player seemed to gather pace quickly, and as noted by John Cross of the Daily Mirror, United look to have stolen a march on the Blues:
However, Jim White of TalkSport and Sky Sports News HQ suggested reports that a £75 million fee has been agreed are wide of the mark:
Sky Sports News HQ also reported "no deal has been agreed to sell Lukaku to United," while Neil Jones of the Liverpool Echo suggested the Toffees have denied the initial reports.
Although United will be parting with big money to get the striker on board, Lukaku has proved himself as one of the most prolific finishers in the game.
Last season, he excelled at Everton under Ronald Koeman, netting 25 times in the Premier League. The striker led the line with distinction at Goodison Park, finding space with ease and taking chances with aplomb.
They're attributes the United attack was short of last season, as Jose Mourinho's side would often dominate matches without being able to apply the finishing touch in front of goal.
As Squawka Football noted, Lukaku can score many different types of goal:
Still, there are flaws in the Belgian's game that will make a lot of supporters a little concerned about the mooted fee.

While the barrel-chested forward is often categorised as a target man, Lukaku struggles with his back to goal. His touch is often erratic, and his work rate leaves a lot to be desired. Should he move to United, they are areas of his game Mourinho will look to improve.
As noted by Adam Crafton of the Daily Mail, a lot of young players are entrusting the United boss with their development:
Still, his main attributes are exhilarating. The striker is at his best when he's got space to run into; when he isolates defenders one-on-one, his pace, power and quick feet make him difficult to stop.
If United get him in and find a way to isolate him against opponents, Lukaku could become a force of nature.
