Barcelona Transfer News: Pedrinho 1st Option Reportedly Wanted, Latest Rumours
Barcelona are reportedly attempting to negotiate an agreement giving them first option to buy Corinthians starlet Pedrinho.
According to Brazilian outlet UOL (h/t Sport), Barca have a "pre-agreement" with the Brazilian club affording them the right to sign him next year or in 2019, but there is an issue regarding his €50 million buyout clause.
He could actually be worth between €10 million and €15 million, but that may double by next year, and the Blaugrana "are not willing to enter a bidding war."

Barca reportedly have similar agreements with Palmeiras and Fluminense.
Corinthians are said to own 70 per cent of the 19-year-old's financial rights, while the remaining 30 per cent is controlled by his agent, Will Dantas.
Here's a look at the exciting young talent in action:
Selecao Brasileira was recently impressed when he made a successful transition to the senior team and helped set up a winning goal for Jo with some superb skill:
Having had so much success in recruiting Neymar, it's of little surprise Barcelona are scouring Brazilian football for the next superstar.
If Pedrinho is able to develop into that player, reaching an agreement now to put the Catalan giants in pole position to sign him will be crucial.
Meanwhile, according to Marca's Xavi Hernandez, manager Ernesto Valverde has several matters closer to home in need of attending, with five players' futures up in the air, namely Arda Turan, Douglas Pereira, Thomas Vermaelen, Munir El Haddadi and Sergi Samper.
Barca are trying to offload the first three and are "actively" pursuing permanent moves away for Douglas and Vermaelen in particular, but Turan, who has three years left on his current deal, is content to stay put.

What's more, there is "little interest" in him from prospective suitors because of "his poor performances last season."
While the Turkey international may not have convinced everyone during his time with the club, he contributed 13 goals and seven assists in all competitions last year despite barely featuring in the second half of the season, and he can provide cover in a variety of roles.
La Liga writer Andrew Gaffney believes he enjoyed an excellent campaign last year:
The 30-year-old is certainly worth keeping as a squad player, though it would be surprising if Barca were unable to find any takers for him, assuming their valuation is reasonable.
As for Munir and Samper, they spent time on loan with Valencia and Granada, respectively, last year and Barca are said to be considering sending them out again for more minutes.
After re-signing Gerard Deulofeu, game time for the former could be at a premium for Munir, but given Barca's problems in midfield they might be wise to keep Samper this summer.
