Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Olivier Giroud and Kieran Gibbs
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud could become a target for Everton as they consider potential replacements for Romelu Lukaku.
According to Paul Joyce of the Sunday Times, the Gunners will want £20 million for the experienced France international if he leaves the Emirates Stadium for Merseyside.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is preparing to welcome Alexandre Lacazette to the club from Lyon, per Joyce, further restricting Giroud's minutes on the pitch. Lukaku is being chased by Chelsea and Manchester United, forcing the Toffees to find a striker with Premier League scoring qualities.

According to Joyce, Giroud is under contract at Arsenal after signing a three-year deal in January.

The Frenchman has been a loyal servant to Wenger during his four years in north London, often spending extending periods on the bench with little fuss.
However, after a poor campaign in England last season, the Gunners are desperate to upgrade their weaponry in the weeks ahead.
The 30-year-old played 29 times in the Premier League last term, scoring 12 goals, per WhoScored.com.

In other Gunners news, Wenger reportedly wants £8 million if Kieran Gibbs departs his squad.
According to Neil Moxley of the Sunday People (via the Mirror), Arsenal are happy to listen to offers for the defender, with Newcastle United interested in his services as they return to the top flight.
The 27-year-old is entering the final year of his deal and could be moved on before he becomes a free agent.
Gibbs fell out of favour last year, and his career has stalled after a bright start to life at Arsenal.

Wenger needs to create a fresh and vibrant squad to challenge next season, and Giroud and Gibbs are surplus to requirements in that process.
Gibbs promised to become one of the best full-backs in English football, but his development did not take the trajectory many thought.
Newcastle would be the perfect destination for the player, offering the chance of first-team football on a weekly basis.
