Chelsea Transfer News: Andreas Christensen Discusses Future, Fresh Blues Rumours
Andreas Christensen has revealed his desire to return to Borussia Monchengladbach at some point in the future, as he prepares to head back to Chelsea following the conclusion of his two-year loan spell.
The Dane posted the message on Instagram:
Christensen, 21, has made just three appearances for Chelsea's senior side but has been capped 11 times by Denmark, and he made 82 outings in his two seasons with Gladbach.

Christensen has scored seven goals in that time, a healthy return for a centre-back, and he specialises in bringing the ball out from defence.
It is his contributions at the back that made him a rock for the Bundesliga side, though, as he showed his dominance in the air, composure on the ground and superb defensive intelligence.
According to Squawka, the defender won 36 tackles and 77 headed duels in the Bundesliga last term, as well as making 70 interceptions, 25 blocks and 121 clearances, all while maintaining a passing accuracy of 91 per cent.
Per Goal's Nizaar Kinsella, Christensen hopes to be at Chelsea next season, but it depends on his pre-season:
Indeed, while he is evidently hoping to return to Gladbach one day, it might not be this summer.
The youngster looks to have outstanding potential and is already playing at a high level, so the club would be wise to give him an opportunity to shine at Stamford Bridge next year and hone his craft alongside the Blues' senior pros.
If they don't, he should have plenty of suitors, including the club he clearly holds great affection for after a successful spell.

Meanwhile, per the Evening Standard's Vaishali Bhardwaj, Thibaut Courtois' agent Christophe Henrotay told Belgian magazine Sport:
"Obviously the biggest clubs are interested in Thibaut, and that includes the reigning European champions. He is a goalkeeper who wins you games, wins you trophies.
"I meet regularly with Real Madrid's directors and Thibaut's situation is evaluated. My role is to keep him informed of the situation."
The stopper played for Atletico Madrid on loan from Chelsea earlier in his career, and he still holds the Spanish capital and the country in high regard.
Chelsea may not be overly thrilled to learn their goalkeeper's representatives have frequent contact with Real, but Los Blancos are also interested in AC Milan 'keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, per Carlos Carpio of Marca.
According to Metro, Real have also been linked with David De Gea for some time, so if they opt to replace Keylor Navas as their No. 1 it appears they are keeping their options open.
