Henry Onyekuru Signs Contract with Everton After Transfer from Eupen
Everton have completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru from Eupen, it was confirmed on Friday.
The Toffees have landed the forward on a five-year deal, although as confirmed by the club's official website, the 20-year-old will join Anderlecht on loan for the 2017-18 season. Onyekuru posed with the Everton crest on his Instagram account earlier in the week:
As noted by Belgian football journalist Kristof Terreur, the decision to loan the player back to the Jupiler League is with a view to Onyekuru getting a work permit:

Terreur added that West Ham United were keen on signing the Nigeria international, while Arsenal also had a tentative interest in the player.
Everton look to have pulled off something of a coup in landing the youngster, who shone in the Belgian top tier last season. Here's why there is so much excitement surrounding him:
Onyekuru finished as the joint top scorer in the Belgian first division, banging in an impressive 22 goals in 38 games. His sparkling form was enough for him to earn a call-up to the national team for the friendly against Togo earlier this year too.
As noted by WhoScored.com, he finished the season in particularly impressive form:
The striker has plenty of attributes to work with. Onyekuru is quick, has excellent movement and is an excellent finisher.
There are raw aspects to his game still, though, and with that in mind, another season on loan in Belgium seems like a sensible choice for the Super Eagles starlet at this point. If he continues on this upward trajectory, Everton will have an exciting striker to call upon ahead of the 2018-19 season.
