Bayern Munich Transfer News: Latest Robert Lewandowski, Julian Brandt Rumours
Bayern Munich fear Robert Lewandowski is preparing to leave the club this summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo (h/t Alex Harris of the Daily Star), the striker has "fallen out" with coach Carlo Ancelotti, opening up a potential switch to Chelsea.
Nizaar Kinsella of Goal recently reported the Blues have contacted the player's agent as they hope to tempt him to the Premier League.

Bayern released a statement about the interest in their prized goalscorer: "Robert Lewandowski has a contract at FC Bayern, which he recently has extended until 2021. FC Bayern does not have any thoughts about a transfer. There are no talks with other clubs and there won't be any. If other clubs negotiate with players who have long-term contracts they risk getting sanctioned by FIFA."
Per Kinsella, Manchester United are also monitoring Lewandowski as they consider their attacking options this summer.
Here is the Poland international in action:
Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen rising star Julian Brandt has told Bayern he will not be joining them in the immediate future.
Speaking to Kicker (h/t Chris Myson of Goal), Brandt admitted he is not ready to move club at present:
"My stomach as well as my mind tell me that the right moment for a transfer is not there yet. I am still young, but also in my fourth year - I feel responsible for the bad season. I therefore see it as my duty to bring the club back where it belongs and for me that means among the top six. Of course there are players who say a year without European football ahead of the World Cup is a reason to change clubs."
The 21-year-old has proved himself to be a creative force for 12th-placed Leverkusen, providing eight assists in the Bundesliga last season, according to WhoScored.com.

The loss of Lewandowski would be a gargantuan blow to Bayern, and the cost of a replacement who could provide the numbers he does would be immense.
However, it is no surprise the striker could be tempted with a move to the Premier League, with the huge wages on offer and the challenge at hand.
Lewandowski has only proved himself in the German league, and if he is to be remembered as one of Europe's great strikers, he must repeat his success in either England or Spain.
