Bertrand Traore Officially Completes Transfer to Lyon from Chelsea
Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore officially completed a move to Ligue 1 giants Lyon on Monday, valued at just €10 million (£8.8 million), per Matt Spiro of beINSports.
Vaishali Bhardwaj of the London Evening Standard reported on Monday that Traore's summer switch had been sewn up, and the Burkina Faso international had signed a five-year contract in Lyon until the summer of 2022:

Betrand enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Ajax in 2016-17 and scored 13 goals in 39 games for de Godenzonen, which was enough to convince the French outfit to invest in his talents.
The 21-year-old's move to France's top flight could be even more valuable than some reports suggest, however, after Ligue 1 Show presenter Spiro wrote that the fee is actually considerably less than that aforementioned:
Traore leaves Stamford Bridge having only made 16 senior appearances for Chelsea, scoring four goals in the process, and the youngster is likely to receive significantly more opportunities in his new setting.
He'll look to mimic the kind of success enjoyed by fellow Chelsea alumni Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne, both of whom have gone on to accomplish great things since leaving west London.
Traore's move to Lyon also poses the question as to what the future holds for incumbent frontman Alexandre Lacazette, who continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal, per James Olley of the Evening Standard.
If the French club still wishes to keep Lacazette, they will have secured the services of a highly promising attacker in the form of Traore, one who recently received great praise from sports lawyer Jake Cohen:
It's clear Lyon were impressed by what they saw of the Burkina Faso international when he scored twice and assisted a goal in the first leg of Ajax's UEFA Europa League semi-final win over them last term.
As has been the case with other Chelsea departures in recent seasons, Traore will leave in the hope of proving his former club wrong in refusing him enough first-team chances—the Blues' loss will be Lyon's gain.
