Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Sergio Augero and Pedro Neto Bid
Arsenal have had a bid for Braga youngster Pedro Neto rejected, as the Gunners are linked with a move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.
According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola (h/t Jack Staplehurst of the Daily Express), the Gunners have failed in a £13.2 million offer for the dynamic prodigy. Barcelona and Manchester United have been monitoring the winger who has a £17.6 million release clause in his deal.
The Blaugrana are expected to increase the stakes as they chase the 17-year-old Portugal starlet through the summer, per A Bola.

According to Alan Nixon of The Sun, United have continued their interest in the attacker after rejecting him during a trial at Old Trafford in 2016. Neto has impressed at Braga as he finds the back of the net with ease in their reserves.

The Gunners are also being linked with a huge swap deal that could see Alexis Sanchez move to City and Aguero head to north London.
According to David Woods of the Daily Star, the superstars could be involved in a straight swap as City coach Pep Guardiola looks to tempt Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. Talks have taken place between the clubs as they try to create a deal.
Gunners legend Ian Wright has given his blessing to the possible deal, per Woods.
"What I would like is for Arsenal to buy Aguero," said Wright. "Then we win the league off the back of that, simple as that."

The 29-year-old Argentina international has been a consistent success story for his club since arriving from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
Aguero scored 25 goals in the Premier League and Europe last term, according to WhoScored.com, but was once again hampered by minor injury.
The player's injury record will cause Arsenal fans concern, but there is no doubting the world-class pedigree Aguero brings to the table.
The Gunners have been keen to acquire a No. 9 for many seasons, and Aguero would make Arsenal a genuine force as they chase the top four.
Losing Sanchez would be a blow to Wenger's tactics as he would have to find a new dynamic attacker, but Aguero would provide the goals lost from the Chile superstar's departure.
