Manchester United Transfer News: Fabinho Tempted by Move to Old Trafford
AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho has admitted he would be tempted by a move to Manchester United.
When asked about the possibility of joining the Red Devils, he told Brazilian TV channel Esporte Interativo (h/t Sky Sports' Michael Kelleher): "It's a tempting invitation. I would first talk to my agent, Monaco too, to decide everything right. But it's a great club. Sure enough, I would think well about it."
Per Kelleher, United have been linked with the 23-year-old this summer.

After allowing Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger to leave in January, and with Michael Carrick turning 36 in July, fresh blood is needed in midfield at Old Trafford.
A holding player would be the ideal complement to Paul Pogba to enable the Frenchman to push forward and create for the side.
Football writer Liam Canning believes Fabinho's versatility would make him a strong candidate:
Fabinho not only boasts the physical qualities United need but also the mental ones—he's an intelligent and tactically astute footballer and is excellent in both positions.
Per Squawka Football, he's an outstanding ball-winner:
Squawka also noted he won 63 headed duels and made 54 interceptions in Ligue 1 last season, along with 73 clearances. Going forward, he scored nine goals and created 33 chances.
Manchester Evening News fan writer Hesham Bilal-Hafiz believes he is a cut above some of the other players who've been linked with United this summer:
Fabinho would make for a young and robust option for United, and it's clear he's of the calibre the team needs to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
The player seems receptive to a move, so the Red Devils would be wise to make an approach.
