Cody Bellinger Becomes 1st Rookie to Hit 10 Home Runs in 10 Games
Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman and left fielder Cody Bellinger on Tuesday became the first rookie in Major League Baseball history to hit 10 home runs in a 10-game span, according to Elias Sports Bureau (via SportsCenter).
Bellinger etched his name in the record book when he launched a two-run home run to right field to give the Dodgers a 4-0 lead in the first inning against the New York Mets at Dodger Stadium.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Bellinger has slammed 22 home runs in 52 games this season.
He's two dingers behind the majors' home run leader, New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge, who uncorked his 24th homer of the season in an 8-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday.
Beyond the rookie milestone, Bellinger also became the first player since Troy Tulowitzki in 2010 to pile up 10 home runs in a 10-game stretch, according to ESPN.com's David Schoenfield.
The achievement came one day after the 21-year-old Scottsdale, Arizona, native recorded a two-home run game to become the fastest player in MLB history to reach 21 home runs.
With the Home Run Derby just weeks away, Bellinger looks like a top candidate to bring home some power-packed hardware if he chooses to participate in the festivities at Marlins Park in Miami.
