Sidney Crosby Says P.K. Subban Was Doing 'Some UFC Move' Before Game 5 Scrap
Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby told reporters after his team's 6-0 Game 5 win over the Nashville Predators on Thursday night that P.K. Subban was "doing some UFC move on me" during the first-period altercation that saw Crosby push the defenseman's head into the ice several times, according to Sportsnet's Chris Johnston.
Subban and Crosby received matching two-minute minors for holding once the scrap was diffused.
Needless to say, Predators head coach Peter Laviolette wasn't thrilled with the officials' decision to dole out equal punishments.

"I really don’t understand the call," he said, according to the Tennessean's Joe Rexrode. "I saw my guy get his head cross-checked into the ice 10 times."
Subban, though, chalked up Crosby's physicality to the nature of the game.
"It's hockey, man," he said after the loss, per the Star Tribune's Michael Russo.
"I'm not an official, so I'm not going to judge what's over the line and what's not," he added, according to Yahoo Sports' Greg Wyshynski. "I mean...at the end of the day, I just gotta play the game and play the game hard. If those opportunities come when someone does something that warrants a penalty, then it's up to the officials to call it. If they don't, then we gotta just move forward.
Now facing a 3-2 series deficit after the Penguins poured it on Thursday night, the Predators will return to the ice Sunday at Bridgestone Arena looking to stave off elimination in Game 6.
