nfldraftlogo.jpg2010 NFL mock draft updates are becoming more frequent, especially the amount of NFL draft sites that are beginning to update weekly.  With their activity increasing, of course, ours here at the NFL Mock Draft Database are as well.

Our Database now consists of the Top 7 picks.  It will be featuring additional upgrades and changes to come.  In addition, DC Pro Sports Report will be launching a new draft site soon.  New concept, new avenue for Draft sites to push content and for readers interested in the NFL draft to find draft related news, material, and opinion.  That's all I have on that for now.  It's coming soon.

Current Database Stats:

Total 2010 NFL Mock Drafts:  77

Mocks updated in October:  29

Mocks updated today:  14

Now let's take a look at the projected Top 6 draft picks.  Many mocks have begun to try and establish a draft order, likely around particular NFL power poll.  That will change week to week, hence, weekly mock draft updates.  We will not focus over the next few months on team slotting, but on actual players and the Top 6 spots.

These consensus projections are based on the 29 Mock Drafts updated in October.

Projected 1st PickQB Sam Bradford (48%)

Out of the 22 mock drafts, Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford was projected 1st overall by 14 of the mocks.  Bradford was slipping due to his injury status, but some of the more recent mocks updated over the weekend solidified Bradford with his weekend performance.  In his first game back, Bradford was 27/49 for 389 yards and a TD pass to lead Oklahoma to a 33-7 win.
Projected 2nd PickS Eric Berry (34%)

Berry is the best defensive player in college football.  Berry captured 10 of 29 mocks projecting him 2nd overall.  Berry is consistently slotted between 2nd and 5th overall.  In Tennessee's 45-19 rout over Georgia, Berry had 4 tackles, 1 assist, a fumble recovery that was returned 46 yards, and 2 pass breakups.

Projected 3rd Pick:   DT Ndamukung Suh (38%)

Suh won the Big 12 Player of the Week this week.  He was dominant in Nebraska's 27-12 win over Missouri.  He recoerded 6 tackles, had a forced fumble, and an interception.
