Since the buyout of WCW in 2001 the WWE has been virtually uncontested in the world of professional wrestling.  This obviously makes it harder for guys to make a living in Pro Wrestling as there are really only two companies who can pay good money.

TNA has emerged in recent years as the home of young talented wrestlers, but as of late it seems they are taking the WCW route and pushing former WWE guys who they think bring in the big viewers, which may be the case with angle but not with anyone else.

Ring of Honor is gaining popularity among wrestling purists due to recent appearances by guys like Ric Flair and Bret Hart, as well as showcasing some former WWE guys like D'Lo Brown.  ROH has lost what many consider their two best talents to the WWE recently, but that wont stop them from putting on good wrestling shows.

If Tna ever hopes to compete with the WWE they need to do two things, move out of the impact zone, remember how much better WCW was once they left the studio, and they need to be on a better network.  While TNA gets advertising all over the world, their home network is not as strong as TNT was for Nitro or USA has been for Raw.  Impact is simply a newer version of WCW saturday night.

The WWE has a monopoly right now in the wrestling business as they dont consider ROH competition and they know they can outbid TNA any day of the week. In my humble opinion WWE will have competition in the future but it will more likely be from TNA than ROH simply because of brand recognition and talent.  Will TNA be competition for WWE anytime soon? No, but if they keep building on their roster and start touring more i think they could be a very good competitor for WWE.  but not for at least five to ten years and thats only if they get some of the best wrestlers in WWE to jump ship like WCW did.

Competition would actually help the WWE like it did during the monday night wars.  Back then Nitro and Raw were getting around 5.0 ratings while Raw today is in the low 3.0 range.  which is sad to think that that many people have stopped watching all together.

Do you guys think TNA will ever be a decent competitor for the WWE?
