Updated 11/23/2009-Just found out Matt Hardy tweeted this article, thanks alot Matt and keep up the great work.

Matt Hardy has been known in recent years for posting on different Internet sites and promoting his matches and merch.  Recently I've been reading a lot of negativity towards Matt for being such a self promoter, and I ask why?

Why does anyone care if Matt promotes himself, its clearly helping him make a living as his hardy show DVDs sell pretty well and he is a popular wrestler.  Matt has posted things on line that have either been misconstrued or were meant to throw off the wrestling community, so what.

The guy is trying to make a living in the public eye, why shouldn't he be promoting the hell out of himself.  Anyone in a band does the same thing and its looked at as they are just trying to get their name out there, so why do people hate Matt for it.

I say that he should say more things to fuck with the online wrestling community because let's face it, my self included here, all the sites always jump the gun on things when it comes to wrestling and it ends up being wrong half the time, like when Matt put on his Twitter account something about others not leaving a good tip at a restaurant and people thought he was trashing his brother.

Maybe you guys haven't noticed but Matt has supported his brother whole-heartedly and that won't stop anytime soon.  Matt is simply doing what he has to in order to connect with his fans.

I started following Matt's tweets recently and the guy posts a lot of pics that fans may enjoy seeing and he always has Hardy show previews up, which is entertaining.

Anyone who has a problem with Matt pushing himself is just plain ignorant, he is a great wrestler, good to his fans and an entrepreneur.

This is just my opinion and everyone is welcome to their own but to anyone who trashes Matt for being to public I say to you, what has HHH done recently to connect with fans outside the arena.

When's the last time John Cena answered random fan questions (which Matt does through Twitter on a regular basis) and when is the last time you saw Randy Orton be as open with his fans?

If you disagree, feel free to comment.
