NFL Producer #19: Ole Miss
Passing Game: Eli Manning would lead the Ole Miss Passing Attack. He would throw to wide receivers Mike Wallace, Micheal Spurlock, and Taye Biddle. Not a very good group of pass-catchers.
Overview- Eli is a great quarterback and would throw to Mike Wallace a lot, but he would not have a good option after that. It doesn't look like this passing attack would intimidate anyone.
Running Game: The only back out of Ole Miss is BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Blocking for him would be Jason Cook.
Overview- BenJarvus Green-Ellis has started a few games and has shown some talent. Jason Cook is not the best fullback, but he could help the running game.
O-Line: Michael Oher anchors a very good Offensive Line. He is joined by Gaurds Kedrick Vincent and Tutan Reyes, Center Chris Spencer, and Tackle Stacey Andrews.
Overview- The Rebels' O-line would be very good and protect Eli and give some running room for Green-Ellis.
D-Line: Off of the edges would be Derrick Burgess and Jayme Mitchell. Blocking the middle would be Periah Jerry and Kendrick Clancy.
Overview- Burgess is a sack-master and could cause a lot of havoc. Clancy and Jerry are two trucks who would be very formidable and tough to run past.
Linebackers: Patrick Willis leads the LB core that would include Charlie Anderson and Ashlee Palmer.
Overview- Patrick Willis is the best Linebacker in the league. He has had well over 100 tackles each year of his career (174, 141, and on pace to get 148 this year). Simply put, he's a monster. The other two linebackers pretty lousy, but Willis' freak athleticism makes up for them.
Secondary: Ken Lucas and Trumaine McBride would cover the corner positions while Jamarca Stanford would share the safety duties with Von Hutchins (Hutchins is really a CB but he's the only other DB).
Overview- Ken Lucas highlights this secondary, mainly because he's the only notable one. Trumaine McBride and Von Hutchins are not lousy and Stanford has not proven himself at the NFL level, though he does have potential.
How the Rebels' NFL team looks:
