Tottenham Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Ross Barkley and Franck Kessie
Tottenham Hotspur have received news Everton reportedly want to sell Ross Barkley for £30 million in order to make room for a couple of new additions during the winter transfer window. Elsewhere, Juventus have ended their interest in Spurs target Franck Kessie.
The Sunday Express' Colin Mafham (h/t Daily Star's Joel Watson) reported Everton are willing to let Barkley leave in order to sign Manchester United duo Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay, with Tottenham interested in their midfielder.
There is doubt over Barkley's place at Goodison Park as the playmaker approaches the final 18 months of his contract with the Toffees—and there's no sign of an extension just yet.

Manager Ronald Koeman doesn't appear to value the club's homegrown product after recently informing the media Barkley's contract situation is "not the priority," per Neil Jones of the Liverpool Echo:
Tottenham may not have room for another attacking midfielder, however, considering they already have Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli among their ranks, while Erik Lamela is another creative force the club could call upon.
Barkley has scored two goals in 14 Premier League appearances this season, but Yahoo's Andrew Gaffney recently suggested he expects more of a player once regarded by many as one of England's biggest prospects:
The Everton academy graduate burst onto the Everton scene as a first-team star during the 2013-14 campaign. He quickly gathered momentum as a potential talisman and enjoyed a successful season last term, bagging 12 goals across all competitions.
However, Koeman seems ready to sacrifice that potential in place of Schneiderlin, with whom he worked alongside at Southampton, and Depay, who has also struggled to compete among United's ranks this season.
It may not go down well with the fans at Goodison Park if Koeman were to sell such a valued homegrown player in midseason, however, in preference of two players who have failed to start a league game between them in 2016-17.
Barkley joined the Toffees academy in 2005 and has made 36 appearances in each of his last three seasons at Everton, but Koeman appears willing to sell the Merseyside native in order to add some fresh blood to the squad.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano of Italian outlet Calciomercato reported Juve are no longer looking to compete for Atalanta midfield general Kessie, for whom they are willing to pay no more than €20 million (£16.7 million).
