NFL Playoff Picture 2016: Week 15 Wild Card Odds and Super Bowl Standings
While there were some upsets in Week 14, much of the 2016-17 NFL playoff picture remained intact.
The Dallas Cowboys may have found their kryptonite in NFC East divisional foes the New York Giants, who are now the only team to have defeated the Cowboys this season—and on two separate occasions.

New Report on Colts-Richardson Situation
The New England Patriots don't play until Monday night where they will face off against the Baltimore Ravens, but they will not clinch a playoff spot, win or lose, because the Miami Dolphins outlasted the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, 26-23.
While the Dolphins may have lost quarterback Ryan Tannehill because of a suspected ACL injury, per Ian Rapoport and Courtney Fallon of NFL Network, Miami has made life a little more frustrating for the Patriots, who sit atop the AFC with a record of 10-2 but haven't been guaranteed a place in the postseason.
The AFC South is quite competitive, with the likes of the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans picking up big wins this past weekend while the Indianapolis Colts fell behind after a 22-17 loss to the Texans.
Here's a look at the latest standings in each conference:
| 1 | New England Patriots | 10-2 | 3-10 |
| 2 | Kansas City Chiefs | 10-3 | 3-5 |
| 3 | Pittsburgh Steelers | 8-5 | 7-5 |
| 4 | Houston Texans | 7-6 | 5-2 |
| 5 | Oakland Raiders | 10-3 | 4-5 |
| 6 | Denver Broncos | 8-5 | 9-5 |
| 7 | Miami Dolphins | 8-5 | 10-1 |
| 8 | Baltimore Ravens | 7-5 | 9-5 |
| 9 | Tennessee Titans | 7-6 | 7-5 |
| 10 | Indianapolis Colts | 6-7 | 7-2 |
| 11 | Buffalo Bills | 6-7 | 20-1 |
| 12 | Cincinnati Bengals | 5-7-1 | 25-1 |
| 1 | Dallas Cowboys | 11-2 | Clinched Playoff Spot |
| 2 | Detroit Lions | 9-4 | 10-3 |
| 3 | Seattle Seahawks | 8-4-1 | 10-2 |
| 4 | Atlanta Falcons | 8-5 | 7-5 |
| 5 | New York Giants | 9-4 | 9-5 |
| 6 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | 8-5 | 4-5 |
| 7 | Washington Redskins | 7-5-1 | 7-5 |
| 8 | Minnesota Vikings | 7-6 | 7-2 |
| 9 | Green Bay Packers | 7-6 | 9-5 |
| 10 | Arizona Cardinals | 5-7-1 | 7-2 |
| 11 | New Orleans Saints | 5-8 | 30-1 |
| 12 | Carolina Panthers | 5-8 | 20-1 |
In the AFC, the North looks to be a tight battle between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ravens. The Cincinnati Bengals, while mathematically still the picture, don't have the best odds of making a late playoff push, especially considering how good the Steelers looked on offense Sunday.
In particular, Le'Veon Bell.
Along with his 298 yards from scrimmage, Bell added three touchdowns. If he wasn't considered the most dynamic tailback in the NFL already, this last performance surely put his critics to rest.
Heading to the AFC South, the Titans pulled off the biggest upset of the weekend with an impressive 13-10 victory over the Denver Broncos. It was a scrappy win for the Titans, who are now in contention for a wild-card spot since the aforementioned Texans took care off the Colts.
Between the Texans, Titans, Broncos, Oakland Raiders and the two-horse race in the AFC North between Pittsburgh and Baltimore, wild-card spots will be hard to come by.
The NFC has the exact same problem.

The Cowboys are already in the playoffs while the Giants, who are 9-4, still have to do their best to lock up a wild-card spot since they, realistically, won't catch Dallas' record. That basically means barring some miracle, the Washington Redskins will be on the outside looking in as they attempt to win as much as they can in hopes that other teams slip up.
The Detroit Lions are, amazingly, the No. 2 seed in the NFC as of Sunday night with a 9-4 record. While the Green Bay Packers are surging in the NFC North after dismantling the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, it would be a surprise to see the Lions fall apart in the late stages of this season.
Speaking of the Packers, they might have done enough to prove the league that they can have a late push to either win their division or lock up a wild-card spot after an impressive 38-10 beatdown over Seattle.
The Seahawks will likely win the NFC West and lock up a top-four seed, but the real fun in the NFC is happening in the South between the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are in a dead heat for the division lead.
The Bucs are on a five-game winning streak and are playing their best football in over a decade. The Falcons will need to do a lot to hold off Tampa Bay, because if the Bucs can continue this momentum and clinch the division, Atlanta could be outside of the playoff picture if the likes of the Giants, Redskins, Minnesota Vikings and Packers remain in the playoff hunt.
