Manchester City Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Joe Hart and Gabriel Jesus
Joe Hart has said he believes he has played his last game for Manchester City after Pep Guardiola informed the goalkeeper he is not in his plans at the Etihad Stadium.
In an interview with Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday (h/t James Ducker of the Telegraph), the England No. 1—who is currently on loan at Italian club Torino—admitted his time with the Sky Blues appears to be over.
Hart said:
"I don't think City are going to be standing in the way - if somebody really wants me, then I'm probably going to be made available.
So it will be about talking and working out what is next and what the best move is for whichever club that might be and for myself.
I've not been sent here to see how I do or see if I improve. I've been sent out because I wasn't wanted. I'm not here to prove what I can do, I'm here because I need to look elsewhere and I didn't have a chance to sort anything permanently.
I came in after the other players because of the Euros, and when we first had a conversation he [Guardiola] said he had his reservations about me. I shook his hand, I said it was professionally honest, but not what I wanted to hear.
"
The goalkeeper added he was looking forward to working with the former Barcelona manager but soon realised he would not regularly play under the fabled coach.

According to Tuttosport (h/t Neil McLeman of the Daily Mirror), Torino have stated they want the 'keeper to remain on loan for an additional season, and they have already spoken with Hart's agent, Jonathan Barnett, over the prospect of an extension.
The stopper has developed a cult following at the Turin club, and his dominance in goal has been appreciated by home fans.
However, Hart's style was never going to mix with Guardiola's preference to play out with feet from the back, leading to Claudio Bravo's capture from Barca.
Bravo is superior with the ball on the deck, but he is short when it comes to the quick-fire nature of the English game, as highlighted by ESPN FC's James Dall:
Gabriel Jesus Coming to Town

In other Sky Blues news, new signing Gabriel Jesus will spend a short time in Manchester after arriving in north-west England.
Chris Cutmore of MailOnline reported the £27 million Brazil prodigy will spend a period at Eastlands after helping Palmeiras win the Brazilian league title.
Cutmore wrote:
"The Sao Paulo-born starlet will be introduced to his new team-mates at City's training ground on Friday and will then watch many of them in action at the Etihad Stadium during Saturday lunchtime's mouthwatering clash with Premier League leaders Chelsea.
After the whistlestop tour, Jesus will return to Brazil for Christmas with his family and will head back to Manchester for good in the new year.
It is understood that he is being readied for first-team action at City rather than a spell out on loan, although he will almost certainly start on the bench at first.
"
Here is the player in recent action:
The 19-year-old is one of the most exciting youngsters in the game, and Guardiola knew what he was doing by capturing the attacker early.
According to Cutmore, City beat Barca to Jesus' signature as the player became known to European clubs.
Jesus could yet be the joker in the pack when it comes to the Premier League title race, and he is already a top talent, long before he kicks a ball in anger in England.
He has proved his value at international level and in South American club football, and he will be the perfect foil for Sergio Aguero when he puts the City shirt on his back.
Jesus could become one of the very best in the world in the next few seasons, leading his club to domestic and European success along the way.
