Philippe Coutinho Talks Roberto Firmino, Liverpool Premier League Title 'Dream'
Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has heaped praise on team-mate and compatriot Roberto Firmino but said he has good chemistry with all his fellow Reds, while he added it is his "dream" to win the Premier League.
Coutinho has been arguably Liverpool's best player this season as Jurgen Klopp's side have made a brilliant start—they are just a point back from league leaders Chelsea. The Brazilian has netted five goals and provided five assists in 12 appearances, per WhoScored.com.
His attacking partnership with Firmino has been excellent, but the 24-year-old said it is not only him and his fellow Brazilian that link up well in the Liverpool side, per Sky Sports' Adam Bate.
"I have a great relationship with [Firmino] on and off the pitch. We are good friends," he said. "But it's not just him, I am linking up well with all of the players on the pitch. And when the team is playing well, the individuals in the team look like they are playing better."

Coutinho has been at Liverpool since 2013 and, in his first full season with the club, was a key part of former manager Brendan Rodgers' side that missed out on winning the Premier League title by two points to Manchester City.
Since then, Liverpool have finished sixth and eighth in the league, barely troubling the UEFA Champions League places, let alone the top spot.
Coutinho was the Reds' best player in 2014-15 and 2015-16, and Liverpool's lack of silverware has led to him being linked with a number of other top European clubs, most prominently Barcelona, per the Sunday People's Neil Moxley (h/t the Mirror).
Under Klopp, though, Liverpool look like genuine title contenders again this season, not least thanks to Coutinho's continued good form:
The former Inter Milan man revealed that winning the Premier League is the main aim for the Reds, per Bate: "That's obviously the dream. And that's what we've got to do. We have to dream it."
Liverpool have not won the English top flight since 1990, a drought the Anfield faithful are desperate to see end this season.
With their attack as potent as it is—no other side has scored more goals in the Premier League—the Merseyside outfit are arguably in as good a position as they have been in recent times to make the dream a reality, especially if Coutinho maintains his superb form.
Should the Reds fall short again, it would be a huge blow, and it could even edge Coutinho closer to the exit door in a bid to win silverware elsewhere.
At the moment, though, it seems the Brazilian ace is focused purely on performing for Liverpool, and that can only be good for his manager and the club.
