Premier League Results: 2016 EPL Week 12 Scores, Table and Top Sunday Scorers
Chelsea reclaimed the Premier League summit for the first time since August after Diego Costa's sole goal gave manager Antonio Conte's side a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough and extended his lead as the division's top scorer.
Costa became the first Premier League player to hit double-digit scoring figures this season after netting his 10th of the campaign at the Riverside Stadium, where the Blues also moved one point clear of the competition.
Following Liverpool's 0-0 stalemate at Southampton on Saturday, Chelsea capitalised by exacting their vengeance on less seasoned top-flight opposition, as well as securing their sixth successive clean sheet in the process.
After a shaky stretch of form under Conte, the west Londoners appear to have found their flow with the Italian, and his preferred 3-4-3 formation has continued to pay dividends both in attack and defence.
Read on for a recap of Sunday's sole Premier League fixture, as well as a roundup of all the Week 12 scores and a look to the latest top-flight standings, where Chelsea now sit as the top team in the country.

Calculated Costa and Chelsea Rise with 'Boro Win
It's fitting that Costa and Chelsea's success should go hand-in-hand this season considering the Spain striker's form in front of goal has been so critical to the club's revival, particularly in those results decided by finer margins.
Not only did Costa become the first Premier League player to hit the 10-goal mark on Sunday, but his tally even takes him two goals clear of nearest striking competitor, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero:
The 28-year-old was at his predatory best approaching half-time at the Riverside and poked home from a corner the hosts failed to clear upon ricocheting around Victor Valdes' six-yard box.
OptaJoe also pointed out the Brazilian-born star even tops the list of players with involvement in goals overall, and one-time Blues midfielder Michael Ballack also found reason to celebrate:
"It's been a while ! yesssss ! #midche #chelsea #mychelsea #cfc @ChelseaFC ⚽️⚽️ pic.twitter.com/sIwgaPXBSi
— Michael Ballack (@Ballack) November 20, 2016"
Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka didn't make the northeast trip an easy one for his guests, either, with Gaston Ramirez, Adama Traore and Alvaro Negredo causing their share of troubles in attack for the hosts.
Conte's Juventus built a foundation of success around defence first and flair second, and Di Marzio translator David Amoyal has noticed similarities emerging between the two of late:
Pedro came close to doubling Chelsea's tally when his strike rattled the crossbar with a little less than 30 minutes remaining, although Costa' strike ultimately proved sufficient to take the three points.
If Chelsea have already seen their major wobble of the campaign, there's every chance we could be witnessing the start of a title run from the Blues, as long as Conte's side can maintain the discipline that's seen them soar.
