Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Memphis Depay and Fabinho
Everton manager Ronald Koeman is keen to sign Memphis Depay from Manchester United in January, offering his Netherlands compatriot a chance of Premier League redemption on Merseyside.
Anthony Chapman of the Sun reported the Toffees are "nailed-on" to capture the winger, who has been a failure after his high-profile switch to Old Trafford from PSV Eindhoven. Depay reportedly has a host of offers to escape his torment at Old Trafford and must now decide his next move after it became clear he does not feature in Jose Mourinho's plans.
Koeman is a long-time advocate of Memphis and directly referenced the talent, as quoted by Chapman: “If there is any opportunity [to sign Memphis] then of course I’m interested," Koeman said. “I was interested at Southampton, that has not changed. We have to be patient, but we will do business in January.”

It is not the first time the Everton boss has publicly spoken about the player, and he is clearly a big fan of his potential and style.
Alec Shilton of the Sun recently reported Koeman said: “I would like to have him. I think he is an interesting player. He has great individual qualities. He just needs to play games."
The 22-year-old failed to make an impact after being signed by Louis van Gaal and has never looked comfortable with the responsibility of the United shirt on his back.
The attacker featured in 29 Premier League matches last term, scoring only twice and providing no assists, according to WhoScored.com.

In other Red Devils news, Mourinho is set to give up the chase for prized Monaco full-back Fabinho.
Richard Forrester of the Sun wrote the self-proclaimed Special One will now look elsewhere after the Ligue 1 club's progress in the UEFA Champions League. Monaco will now keep the player until at least the summer, thwarting United's hopes of landing him in January.
Forrester added Mourinho is happy to sell Matteo Darmian as he attempts to sign a new full-back.
Bleacher Report UK's Sam Tighe has previously lauded the Monaco defender:
Here is Fabinho in action:
Mourinho is clearly not satisfied with his defensive stock, and Darmian and Luke Shaw do not seem to meet the requirements the manager wants from his new-look United side.
Fabinho is one of the great full-back talents on the continent, offering the power, pace and skill the United coach demands from the position.
United fans would be happy to see the development of Shaw continue, but Mourinho is consistently impatient and ruthless with young talent, as witnessed at Chelsea.
Shaw is destined to become one of the elite full-backs in European football, but he might not get the first-team chances he requires to grow while Mourinho holds the keys to the doors at the Theatre of Dreams.
