Rajon Rondo's Wrist Injury Considered 'Significant' by Bulls Coach Fred Hoiberg
Chicago Bulls guard Rajon Rondo will remain out of action due to a sprained wrist that appears worse than expected.
According to Vincent Goodwill of CSN Chicago, head coach Fred Hoiberg called the injury "significant," with the guard potentially missing the final two regular-season games.
Rondo hasn't appeared in a game since an April 4 loss to the New York Knicks.

The 30-year-old has dealt with a handful of injuries throughout his career, most notably a torn ACL that limited him during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons. He hasn't played more than 72 games in a season since 2009-10, his fourth year in the league.
Rondo also missed time this season with an ankle injury.
Even when he was at full strength, however, his first season with the Bulls has not be perfect. He lost his starting job and even failed to see the court for a couple of weeks before returning to the rotation.
While he has started games toward the end of the year, his averages of 7.8 points and 6.7 assists per game are a far cry from what we have seen in the past from Rondo.
The veteran has been one of the best pure point guards in the NBA when healthy. The four-time All-Star has led the league in assists per game three times, including last year with the Sacramento Kings when he averaged 11.7 assists. He also tallied 11.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game.
Unfortunately, things have clearly not gone according to plan since signing a two-year deal with Chicago in the offseason.
Jerian Grant and Michael Carter-Williams will take over point guard duties as the Bulls try to earn one of the final playoff spots in the Eastern Conference.
