Kicking Off The Best NFL Producer List: #20 Purdue

Passing Game: Drew Brees (Shown above while playing for Purdue) is the QB that would run an All-Purdue offense.  Not too shabby for the Boilermakers.  His options to throw to at wide receiver are Joe Standeford and Greg Orton.  Joe Standeford is a tall reciver who could make some plays if there was a necessity to do so.  Though, Brees' top option to throw to would be Dustin Keller, the verstile Tight End who could play some slot receiving.  The other Tight End option would be Charles Davis.

Overview- Brees is as good as they get, but with no one to throw to it's hard to see this passing game do well.

Running Game:  The only back to come out of Purdue is Korey Sheets.  He has yet to carry the ball in the NFL.

Overview- Sheets is not what I'd call a star running back, so the running would struggle immensely.

O-line: The Offensive Line would be anchored by star tackle, Matt Light.  His supporting offensive linemen would be tackles Brandon Gorin and Michael Otto, as well as Gaurd Uche Nwanenri and Center Michael Hardwick.

Overview: The Matt Light led line could make something out of a lack-luster running game and they could also give Drew Brees time which is always dangerous to the opponents.

D-line: On the ends would be Chike Okeafor and Ray Edwards.  Chike Okeafor is a very good pass rusher and is capable of getting lots of sacks, along with End-mate Ray Edwards, who is a rising star DE.  Clogging the middle would be Craig Terrill, the 300 pound monster.

Overview- The line would be a little undersized considering Both Okeafor and Edwards are 4-3 DE's, but they would still apply plenty of pressure to the QB.

Linebackers: The Outside Linebackers would be Akin Adoyle and Landon Johnson.  Attacking from the Inside Linebacker position would be Shaun Phillips and Anthony Spencer.

Overview- This set of linebackers would be a very solid group.  All four have or are currently starting for NFL teams and have had some sort of success.  This is where the D would thrive.

Secondary: The cornerbacks would be Jacques Reeves and Stuart Schweigart.  At the Safety position, they would have Bernard Pollard and Anthony Heygood.

Overview- None of these DB's are anything special and the secondary would suffer as a result.

How they look:

QB: Drew Brees

RB: Kory Sheets

WR: John Standeford, Greg Orton

TE: Dustin Keller, Charles Davis

OL: Matt Light, Uche Nwaneri, Nick Hardwick, Michael Otto, Brandon Gorin

DE: Chike Okeafor, Ray Edwards

DT: Craig Terrill

LB: Akin Adoyle, Shaun Phillips, Anthony Spencer, Landon Johnson

CB: Jacques Reeves, Stuart Schweigert

S: Bernanrd Pollard, Anthony Heygood
