Pryor Comments on Future in Cleveland
Monday, Nov. 21
Pryor spoke about the potential of re-signing with the Browns this offseason despite the 0-11 start to the season, courtesy of Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram:
"I don’t believe in taking easy roads and going to teams just because a team’s great, just because I want to win. I’d rather start how we are and build an empire, a top gun franchise. I believe in that. I believe in battling. I don’t believe in taking the easy way out in anything.
So whatever happens in free agency when that comes up, I’d love to be here. I love playing for Hue, I love playing for the Haslams. They’re great owners. It’s one of the best facilities and they want to win.
"
Pryor previously told reporters on Oct. 20 that he would like to stay in Cleveland so long as Hue Jackson is serving as the team's head coach, per Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot:
"I respect him very highly and if Hue Jackson's here, I'd love to stay here. I want to be here if Hue's going to be here for a while, because I know this is a building process — and it's not really. We're right there. We're competing with everybody, we've just got to put teams away and I'd like to be where Hue's at.

Browns, Pryor Initiate Extension Discussions
Monday, Nov. 7
Bleacher Report's Jason Cole reported Monday that the Browns are looking to sign Pryor or newly acquired linebacker Jamie Collins Sr. to a new deal before the end of the season.
Cabot first reported Oct. 20 that the two sides have had "preliminary extension talks." NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirmed Cabot's report Oct. 31.
Pryor Becoming Face of Browns Organization
Pryor started his season with six catches for 100 yards over the Browns' first two games, but he's come on strong since.
The former Ohio State standout posted eight catches for 144 yards and four rushes for 21 yards and a score in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins, and he followed that effort up with five catches for 46 yards and a touchdown the following week.
The 6'4", 223-pound target continued to establish himself as a physically imposing presence on the outside, with nine catches for 75 yards and two scores against the Tennessee Titans.
All told, Pryor has caught 56 passes for 724 yards—good for No. 15 among all NFL receivers. His four receiving touchdowns are tied for 25th among all players.
Considering this is Pryor's first full year playing receiver, he's earned a raise from the $1.7 million he's making this season.
With his contract set to expire at season's end, the Browns should be intent on keeping Pryor in tow as they continue to deal with inconsistency under center.
