
Jordan Poyer Injury: Updates on Browns FS' Possible Concussion, Kidney, Return
Cleveland Browns safety Jordan Poyer was removed from a Week 6 game against the Tennessee Titans and taken to the hospital to be evaluated for a concussion and a lacerated kidney after taking a hit from Titans running back Antonio Andrews while he was covering a punt in the second quarter. Poyer was eventually carted off Cleveland's sideline.
It is uncertain when he will return to action.

Poyer told reporters it was "a little scary" to leave the stadium in an ambulance, adding that he "threw up a little blood," causing the team to take him to the hospital.

Browns head coach Hue Jackson told reporters he doesn't know if Poyer will return this season, saying: "A lacerated kidney is [very] serious."
Poyer Is a Valuable Player for Browns Special Teams
The 25-year-old appeared in each of Cleveland’s first five games. He didn't tally an interception but was responsible for 36 combined tackles in the defensive backfield and on special teams. He also played 14 games for the Browns last season and notched both of his career interceptions.
Derrick Kindred is one option to receive additional playing time if Poyer is out for significant time. The rookie was a fourth-round draft pick out of TCU and finished his collegiate career with eight interceptions.
