Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Lucas Moura and Philippe Coutinho
Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery is ready to offer Lucas Moura to Liverpool as a makeweight in a deal to capture Philippe Coutinho.
According to French outlet Le 10 Sport (h/t Luke Gardener of the Daily Star), PSG are planning the "mammoth swap deal" in order to tempt Jurgen Klopp into doing business for his prized asset.
Lucas arrived in Paris after signing from Sao Paulo in 2013 but has been unable to live up to his burgeoning reputation in Brazilian football.

However, Liverpool will attempt to stave off interest in Coutinho by offering the attacker a new deal to remain at Anfield, with Barcelona also waiting in the background, according to Neil Moxley of the Sunday People (h/t the Mirror).
Liverpool have lost a succession of superstar talent in recent seasons, including Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres, and will not want to see Coutinho exit just as his stock begins to peak.
The player has been quickly off the mark this term, scoring four times in all competitions this season, according to WhoScored.com.
Squawka Football highlighted how Coutinho's statistics stand up against the best players in England:

Moura would be an interesting addition to the Anfield army, and his pace would see him become a popular weapon in Klopp's arsenal.
Despite failing to fully shine in the French capital, the attacker is young enough to excel at a different destination.
The PSG man has continued to return good numbers, scoring four goals in eight appearances this season, per WhoScored.
Here is Moura in action:
Pace is king in the Premier League, but Moura is very similar to Sadio Mane in terms of approach and outlook.
Mane's ability to play as an affective No. 10 with grounding in the English game made him a shrewd recruit, and he could dovetail with Moura if the Brazilian arrives on Merseyside.
Klopp is unlikely to advocate a swap deal for a creative talent in Coutinho's bracket, but the player might be attracted to the prospect of playing in the UEFA Champions League.
In turn, the lack of European Cup football could turn Lucas off and see him wish to remain at a team playing at the very highest level on the continent.
