Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Jess Cohen of EOnline.com reported the news on Wednesday, just hours before the E Network broadcast the show's first episode.
Bryan and Bella have been talking about starting a family ever since Bryan was forced to retire earlier this year following issues with concussions throughout his career.
"Big congrats to Brie @BellaTwins and @WWEDanielBryan on expecting their first baby!! You're gonna be amazing parents!! ☺️☄️
— Renee Young (@ReneeYoungWWE) October 5, 2016"
With wrestling behind him, Bryan seems excited about the challenge of raising a child. "The day we found out, I just couldn't stop smiling," Bryan said. "We are so excited to be parents. Every time I look at Brie's stomach, I'm amazed that there is a little life in there."
Bella is usually being followed by cameras for Total Bellas and Total Divas, so there is a good chance we will see the birth documented on one of the reality shows when the baby is born in the spring.
First Women's Hell in a Cell Match Being Planned
The feud between Sasha Banks and Charlotte has been going strong for months, and it intensified Monday when Banks defeated Charlotte for the Women's Championship for a second time.
The two are set to clash again at Hell in a Cell, and there is a possibility it could be more than a standard singles match.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com (h/t Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc), WWE officials are planning on making the bout one of this year's Hell in a Cell matches.
We have seen women fight inside a cage before, but they have never competed inside the cell. Putting Charlotte and Banks inside the demonic structure would show how much faith WWE has in their skills.
Cage or no cage, when Banks and Charlotte fight, the fans always get invested because they put everything they have into their matches, so no matter what the stipulation is, they will attempt to steal the show.
Erick Rowan Has Surgery
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Erick Rowan has undergone surgery on his shoulder for a torn rotator cuff, putting him out of action for the time being.
Rowan hasn't been wrestling much in recent weeks, but he just got back together with Bray Wyatt recently, so The Eater of Worlds will have to battle Randy Orton all by himself.
The last time we saw the bearded brawler was during the September 27 episode of SmackDown, when he was shown helping Wyatt torment Orton during backstage segments.
