Manchester City Transfer News: Latest on Joe Hart, Fresh Rumours
Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart could reportedly complete a permanent deal to Torino at the end of his loan spell.
The England international fell out of favour under new City boss Pep Guardiola and was shipped out to the Serie A side on a temporary basis. According to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Sport Witness), while Torino have managed to snare Hart for a season, the club will “never say never” when it comes to a full switch.
Although he made an error on his debut, the stopper has enjoyed a fine start to life in Turin. Hart has certainly impressed club president Urbano Cairo, too.
“Apart from his big goalkeeping skills, I am discovering the qualities of a great guy,” he said, per the same piece. “He’s a very respectful one of the group.”

In the report from Gazzetta, Hart is also praised for making “imperious” saves and for being “perfectly integrated in defensive movements.”
The man himself is evidently enjoying his time in Italy, and he posted the following on Instagram recently as Torino secured their first win since his arrival against Roma:
Although Hart has a huge affinity with City, it’d be a big surprise if he was to force his way back into contention under Guardiola. The new boss has spent a hefty amount to secure Claudio Bravo, and although the jury remains out on the Chilean, he’s much more suited to the style that’s going to be in place at the Etihad Stadium.
You sense that if Hart performs to a high standard this season, the 29-year-old will be hopeful a more illustrious club makes a move for him ahead of the 2017-18 term.
Samir Nasri Wants Major League Soccer Move

According to the Daily Star (h/t Goal), Samir Nasri’s future will most likely be in the United States despite the riches on offer in China.
The midfielder is currently on a season-long loan with Sevilla from City as he seeks to rediscover his form and fitness after a tough time at the Etihad Stadium. Despite a decent start to life in Andalusia, it seems as though the France international is already plotting the next chapter of his career.
It’s suggested in the report that Nasri would be keen to move to New York City if the chance arose. He will reportedly cost any potential suitors around £10 million.

At his best, Nasri is a wonderful footballer to watch, and he’s shown signs of form again with Sevilla. Sky Sports’ Guillem Balague hailed the start to the season enjoyed by Nasri and suggested he may not be done with City quite yet:
A manager like Guardiola, who demands such a high level of technical proficiency from all his players, would potentially be able to utilise someone like Nasri if he was fully fit. However, the 29-year-old has spent so much time on the treatment table in recent seasons that it’s tough to totally rely on him.
Sevilla manager Jorge Sampaoli is renowned for playing an intense style of football in which all players need to be in peak physical condition. If Nasri can come through this campaign unscathed and emboldened, perhaps he’ll have something to offer his parent club yet.
