Worrilow Crucial to Falcons Defense
Worrilow has provided the Falcons with incredible value since signing as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
The Delaware product led the team in tackles in each of the last three seasons, racking up 365 combined tackles to go along with four sacks, three forced fumbles and two interceptions over that span.
Rookie linebacker Deion Jones beat him out for the starting job in the middle of the defense during training camp and the preseason, though the injury may have played a role, as Ledbetter noted the groin issue has affected Worrilow since the summer.
In August, the 26-year-old told Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com he was prepared for anything as it became clear Jones had the inside track.
"Whatever my role is, I'm going to go out there with the mindset to dominate it and be the best that I can," Worrilow said. "I'm not worried about that kind of stuff because this team is so much bigger than an individual. Any role I can get, I want it. And I want to go out there and play well."
