Berger Has Been Stable Force on Vikings O-Line
Berger has been a staple on Minnesota's offensive line since signing with the team in 2011. Last season marked the first time he started all 16 games since being drafted in 2005.
In December, Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus named Berger the NFL's most underrated player for his work last season after he tied for the best overall grade among centers with the Cowboys' Travis Frederick.
It's rare a player in his mid-30s hits his peak, but the 34-year-old needed a chance and ran with it after he got one.
Without Berger, the Vikings will turn to Nick Easton. The 24-year-old moved around as a practice squad player last season, so his inexperience leaves the defending NFC North champions with a huge hole to fill.
