Yanks Lose Another, As the Team Just Wants to Wrap Up the Season

Andy Pettitte wasn’t very good today. He lasted only 4.1 innings, giving up 5 runs (3 earned) and walked four batters. His pitching line was: L, 4.1IP 6H 5R 3ER 4BB 1K. Andy picked up his 8th loss, as his record moves to (14-8) on the season. Alfredo Aceves tossed 2.1 innings of scoreless baseball in relief. Chad Gaudin pitched the last 1.1 innings of the game with no trouble at all.

The Yankees weren’t very productive at the plate either. The knocked in 3 runs on 9 hits.

Brett Gardner went 1-for-4, with a run, a walk, and 2 stolen bases. Damon, Teixeira, and Hairston all had a hit on the game along with an RBI.
