There seems to be a lot of negative sentiment to getting Harris and why we didn't get a better tackle for the left side than him.

I'm here to tell you that if Wade connects well with JaMarcus, that could be a moot point.

Lets look at the Super Bowl when Sims was with the team.  Wait, Sims was with the team that made it to Super Bowl.  Now he's probably lost a step or two and that's why they got rid of him, but I believe Newberry was more the problem.

What happened after Barrett Robins went crazy and kept himself from playing the final battle?  Maybe he wasn't the difference of the blowout, some tend to think so, but then in a domino effect of events could have been a major factor.

While watching some games, I noticed something that another Raider fan friend pointed out to me.  He said look at Jeremy, he looks one way then another and snaps, and it looks like the Defense recognizes this and can anticipate the snap.  Now if the Defense can get such a good jump often, that's a lot to ask for even the best Tackles to defend.

It doesn't matter what kind of tackle you are if the Defense is by you before you notice the snap.  It seemed like Newberry didn't pick up on this.  I saw a team in the backfield when the ball was snapped one time very noticeably and after I saw that flaw in Newberry.  I think now the staff realizes that flaw, and others,  and a reason why Newberry was released.

Wade is going to be a very important part of the O-line.  If JaMarcus and he can get a good chemistry going, then the rest of the O-line will follow making it easier to block when the Defense is caught off guard and can't just rush in there off the snap.  Harris is more athletic than Sims, plus the problems he had with the 49ers have already been pointed out by Cable and he knows what he needs to do and is eager to work on it.

You have to like a guy who's eager to work.  But I believe Wade will be the main ingredient for the O-line.  Chemistry is a major factor in success in Football.  It's one sport that has a lot of players trying to get on the same page and there being so many variables that goes with the success or not.

Remember it's not necessarily the best players that work, but the right fit of players, and I believe that's what our staff is looking for.  Harris might not be the best tackle, but maybe he will be the right tackle.  And maybe Wade will be a better fit for the team too.

Remember the USA 1980 Olympic hockey team.  The coach wasn't looking for the best players, he was looking for the right players, the right fit.  The best players, ala the NHL All-Stars got killed by the Soviet national team, yet a group of college hockey players pulled off the greatest upset in history.

Of course, this isn't nearly the same magnitude because the talent among the NFL players isn't that skewed but you get the idea.  By the way where does the Left Tackle of the Giants stand in relation to the other good team's left tackles.

  1. yea, steve, it was Newberry that caused the Raiders to lose. Try the whole offensive line were sleeping on most passing downs. The run blocking was fine but not the pass blocking, If you only saw the defense in the back field once on a snap you must of not watched many games, because while I was sitting in my seat at the coliseum, I saw Gallery on the ground, Sims false start and Green reaching to grap the d/e because he was getting past him. I don't know what you were watching maybe you should of looked at some of the other lineman. Sims sucked. five false starts in one game. He should of been pulled. I know, Cable is going to fix all of it. please don't tell Raider fans about Harris we live here and see him every week at the stick, he may have more false starts then Sims. I know, it wasn't his fault.

    1. He isn't the only person to point this out - it's been common knowledge since the end of the season that Newberry telegraphed the snap count. Give the defense an edge like that...even a probowl line would look like rookies.

  2. Great insight, Steve!
Hey when the a team like the Raiders (who although have improved immensly have still much to do with the o-line) doesnt want u back at the O-line then you must have something wrong! The signing of Newberry and then Wade have only proven that Cable doesnt completely trust Jake Grove and that there is still some instability at the center position.
Steve, I too have been disappointed by all the opposition against Barry Sims. He was an undrafted free agent people who made the team to guard our QB of the future in Gannon at the time and was with the team in their playoff victories of 2002. Yes he was owned by Simeon Rice in the superbowl but hey, the Bucs knew our snap count while Gruden knew our offense like the back of his hand.
Sims was a true Raider from my opinion but age and fatigue caught up and he just had to leave!

  3. Does Wade have a first, or last name? I can't follow this

    1. lol, his first name is the same as yours, how funny.

    2. Thank you.........no, you really should use full names in your articles because they get read by more than just Raider fans....
      Rgds
      JF

    3. yeah sometimes i get carried away. lol.

    4. actually i just realized his whole name is on the title, just not the article.

  4. Thats because one of the interns edited the article.....no worries....its a failsafe we have here at BR

    keep up the good work
    JF

  5. Yeah Wade will be a big part of the teams success and so will Kwami. If and it's a big IF, they play well the Raiders will be in the playoffs.

  6. dude, wade isn't even practicing with the first team, chris morris is....

  7. Overall I agree with Steve, it was obvious to most Raider fans a couple of years back that Grove wasn't the answer (a bust in other words). Still isn't. It is plain to see that Tom Cable feels the same.As it is fairly plain to see that the Raiders feel hamstrung by Grove's rookie contract, the only reason I think he is still on the roster. A change had to be made and Newberry was a step in the right direction. That direction being away from Jake Grove. But while Newberry was an improvement over Grove, it wasn't enough of an improvement. And his knees won't last forever. You know? On paper John Wade is a big time upgrade. And may turn out be the best signing of this free agent period. He was a monster for Tampa, so here's hoping he is a stud in Oakland.

  8. It's true that Wade is not practicing with the first team, but Newberry didn't practice with the first team this time of year last year. As a matter of fact, Newberry played with the second team in preseason also. Wade will get more snaps with the first team as it gets closer to the regular season. wade was a solid starter with the Bucs for 6 years and i don't see him being a back up.

  9. Wade (sorry John) John Wade will start this year. Groove had health problems in the last preseason game last year and throughout the whole season. Cable still thinks that Groove or "his type of play" is the right fit for the new way of team blocking. Newberry was so obvious on his head checking ritual that on the second game against the Chefs he looked left, then right then screwed up and looked left again and half of KFC jumped off sides. Also, if you look at the game against the Colts, you could see Sapp on the sidelines with Newberry and showing him what he does. The other MAJOR problem was that on EVERY snap, Culpepper (first name withheld to piss off the non-Raider fans), after getting the ball would step 'FORWARD', between the centers legs, then backwards. I QB'ed in high school and new better than that. EVERY single time, I'd be WTF? Really, check it out. It is almost funny. Almost.. Anyway, great article - Thanks.

  10. The interior of our line is really improving. Its going to be really exciteing to watch this thing come together.

Don't forget the effect Dmac is going to have on the Dends we face. If they blow by our tackles there going to be seeing a lot of screens. After the first one goes to the house there going to think twice about blowing by our tackles.

Dmac's speed will change how other teams look at us.

  11. If what you are saying about Newberry is true, then our coaching staff is asleep at the wheel. Are you saying that Cable did not up on this and if he did, he did not correct it?

    1. well i would have to say on that, im sure Cable wasnt oblivious, but sometimes players cant change habit, and im sure he sees something better with John Wade. Newberry is older and sometimes you cant teach an old dog new tricks. im sure Cable had a problem with it, and probably a reason he let him go, who knows. but the reality was he did tip the D off from this, i saw it.

  12. Amazing.

How is it so many of you are completely clueless? You wonder why Raider fans are laughed at as being clueless, inept, and uninformed??? JUST READ THIS THREAD.

Seriously. Do you not have ANY IDEA on what a center does?

First off, board clowns, Newberry is a ProBowl center, starting in the probowl in 3 consecutive years, nitwits.

And yes, lol...he does look from left to right...sometimes right to left...sometimes keeps glancing back to just on side.

THAT'S BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT A CENTER IS SUPPOSED TO DO, fools. One of the reasons Newberry was so damn good, and got to those 3 consecutive probowls is because he ran the complete O line. Up until the ball was snapped, he's looking to BOTH SIDES TO SEE IF THE DEFENSE IS CREEPING UP or if someone shifts..that's why he's CONSISTENTLY POINTING at defensive players, yelling out to the line man who they have, and what to watch for.

And year, up until the last second, he's still watching to see if he can call out what the D is doing.

I swear, it's like talking to my kids...WHEN THEY WERE 12.

And leave it to sorry Little Stevey to state something as asinine as Kwame isn't as important as your center.

Of course, you GUARANTEED that Cable would make Kwame Harris into a PROBOWL TACKLE. You remember, don't you? First you guaranteed it, then denied when I brought it up, then when I quoted you, you ran to your corner, little blanky in hand, begging others to help you up.

Interesting that the idiot author of this thread actually is stating what HE saw that brilliant genius of a line coach DIDN'T.

In reality, saying Newberry was letting the D know the play because of him glancing side to side makes YOU and many of the above who stated 'Wow..duh...dat's cool too know" some of the biggest morons on this board.

Only a Raider fan would run that...ONLY a Raider fan, lol...

You guys are good for laughs...I'll give you that.
    Well, you and the Geezer.

    1. Pay no attention to this guy. he likes to twist words to make himself look like he knows somn. hes the same guy who when i said we had a 3 game stretch of only 1 sack against us, he says it was chiefs, broncs and some loser team that all we did was dump the ball all day lol. now if anyone wants to listen to a guy with that kind of take and who is obviously a disgruntled bay area 9er fan, then i feel bad for you.

oh and btw the stretch which is actually different on another site and ill use a 4 game stretch.

      Chiefs 2 sacks allowed
      broncs 0 sacks allowed
      packers 0 sacks allowed
      colts 0 sacks allowed

ill bet hell try real hard to claim he didnt say that or twist the words again. the amazing thing is he says i guaranteed that Cable would make Harris a probowler, when i was like ill bet he will, which is still only speculation not fact.

but little mikey directly made a fact false. My theory was speculation, and probowl is a popularity contest. many guys play like probowlers that dont get in, its a big crock. but for someone to actually state a fact and its completely false, and you can just look it up is pretty sad.

so lets see my speculation which still remains to be seen, oh and by the way Cable had Gallery playing like a probowl guard throughout the season, to Mikeys stating a fact that was false hmm, now thats pretty bad.

if mikey cant even state a fact that all you have to do is look up, how far off is he going to be on speculation about other things. sounds like a pretty fraudulous thing to me.

again pay no attention to his useless dribble, im sorry the intelligent readers here have see anything by him. well you dont really have to see it thats why you just say oh somn from mikey skip over.

    2. ive had speculation become more fact than mikeys stating facts, which of course arent true.

    3. WTF?? Uh, Little Stevey??? YOU wrote a weak thread about how the center was more important that that turnstyle of a tackle, our benched and releases Kwame Harris, all because of how YOU noticed Newberry telegraphing the plays because he "looked around'.

I just made it quite clear that you HAVEN'T A CLUE ABOUT FOOTBALL, while explaining why Newberry, and centers do what they do...and from you...NOTHING???

Instead of backing up your words, you post NOTHING ABOUT IT, and instead bring up another thread that I slapped you around on??

Yeah, you were left stating what I JUST SAID..that you're 'Not going to bother to read"..which, OF COURSE, followed me schooling your sorryass..just like above.

And like the other thread, you haven't a word to say to defend your comments.

That's why I told you that you have no credibility. You're not alone, but you're definitely a frontrunner.

      Here...here's what credibility is
      http://www.bleacherreport.com/articles/24935-Oakland-Raiders-O-Line-Doubters-have-Forgotten-Tom-Cable-220508

In the middle of me schooling your STUPID TAKE I left out the GB game, saying it was three other games. that's ALL YOU HAD IN REPLY..lol..yeah..read it again, little boy. You got schooled and left for roadkill..and the only thing you could muster was "It was, Mommy..it was 1 sack in three games...really, mommy, it was"
Unlike you, I stated "My bad. I left out the GB game".
No big deal...except to you, little man.

You just wave that white flag, say 'I'm not going to bother to reply, because I didn't read" where you then proceed to prove you did read, lol..but are rather 'slow' in thinking of retorts.

Now, can you state, now, that you're a friggin idiot for running the "I saw Newberry look to the side, and tipped off the defense"??

Honestly, do you feel like as big a baffoon as you come across?
      I hope not.

      that would be brutal.

Want proof on how silly you sound? "
Little Stevey: "oh and by the way Cable had Gallery playing like a probowl guard throughout the season, "

Gallery got tossed around like a rag doll even at guard. You're a fool.

Now...uh...anything about your stupid thread regarding Newberry????

      ANYTHING??

I mean YOU WERE THE ONE WHO STARTED THE THREAD..I would think before you post a thread you would at least feel compelled to back your words.

Spineless comes to mind. Yeah, you're a Raider fan..goes hand in hand.

  13. lol, so i go to look at any article mikey may have written, lol, and i see nothing, nada, zilch, zippo. and all the comments on the short list show what a fraud he is.

Mikey is too afraid to write an article, for fear his true person will be exposed. figures, its like the old saying he can dish it out but he cant take it, lol, classic.

  14. How do you know you just own someone? That you have them all flustered?

They post back to back to back, lol.

Let me guess? You posted that first sorry weak take...sat and stewed for a couple of minutes..little light bulb went off where you said to yourself "OH YEAH...I should have said"..rushed to post..and then it happened again? Makes you look stupid, slow, and weak.

You know, when I call you an idiot, it's a pretty all encompassing statement..covers your sorry and weak threads that scream "I think I get points if I post something, anything" not to mention you being ball less when your stupid takes are challenged.

You're pretty much toast right about now, aren't you, little stevey?

    1. still have to spew your dribble. the hypocrisy is amazing. before you talk about my posting comments back to back, which doesnt mean diddly, go look at a mirror first. lol. your worse than donny boy on the Raiders message boards. i called him ignorant boy, and you have now surpassed him by far, and hes a Chiefs fan wanna be Raiders fan, kinda like you being a 9ers fan wanna be Raiders fan. you being worse than donny boy is really sad, cuz he hasnt ever had anything to root for in the Chiefs, and they kick him off their board lol, and you fall right in with him. you guys should get together you would make a nice couple. ive seen your foes here posting, your such a fraud.

and i knew you would twist the words. now that ive had my say bye bye.

  15. In other words, I was dead on regarding Newberry, and your idiot thread.

    Yeah...I know.

  16. wow thats the shortest comment i think ive seen yet its a miracle, now just come into the light and stay out of the dark and theres hope for you yet:)

  17. FOR ONCE, Mike49er is correct on one point: Newberry was not telegraphing the snap count.

Newberry was cut because of age/injury issues.

Furthermore, it would be rediculous to suggest that the even a bad D-1 college team would be telegraphing the snap count for more than one series or a quarter.

The Raiders had a number of offensive issues to work out, but telegraphing the snap count was not one of them.

    1. yes he did telegraph the snap count, did you actually watch some games. i saw it. now whether thats a reason or not is a different issue, and has been noted by people other than me. in fact i never even realized it till i actually looked for it when someone mentioned it. its an absolute fact he did telegraph snap count. but how much or to the extent that was why he was cut is a different issue. and i sure hope Newberry will be playing when we face chargers cuz our D will have a field day. go watch some tape and another posted comment tells you one of the games he did it in, who says he played QB.

Mikey49er is never right on anything about Raiders because hes not passionate for them like Raider fans. hell always twist words to act like he knows somn when ive already statistically showed his inaccuracy. and i dont see an ounce of insight in him. he still has yet to post an artical, and until he does hes got nothing. hes like a little class clown kid stirring up trouble without an ounce of depth in his soul.

    2. Steve-

If you think that Newberry was telegraphing the snap count you don't have any business writing articles.

  18. Again, you couldn't be any dumber if you took a class.

Newberry has had major knee surgery. that knee caused him to miss most of two years with the Niners, and was a major concern with the Raiders. Save that dumbass "I SAW HIM TELEGRAPH THE SNAP COUNT".

Why is there NOTHING ANYWHERE about Newberry telegraphing it?

NOTHING. Just a comment from a couple of idiot Raider fans..I emphasize the "idiot" part.

Nothing from defenses. Nothing from the Raiders. Nothing from the players...NOTHING..just a little sniveling whine by the resident moron who hates being proven to be a dumbass.

I mean, hell, Raider fans are calling you out for being stupid, lol...so I don't actually find it much of an accomplishment agreeing with what everyone pretty much knows.

Your D will have a field day??? AGAINST NEWBERRY? Again, you're honestly one of the stupidest posters I've met anywhere. First off when he's healthy he's one of the better centers in the league..and secondly YOUR D LINE SUCKS. lol...geez.

Now, here's another little slap down on you. Weren't YOU the fool who insulted another Raider fan for his spelling, that you couldn't take him seriously? When you use words like "somn" and " artical" not to mention "hes" are you so stupid you don't realize you just crapped on yourself?

Now, again, typo takes are for losers. Interesting that YOU run it, when you spell like crap yourself.

Now, again, it's fun slapping you around. Guess I'm kind of picking on ya because you ran that seriously weak "spelling" take when you spell like a clown yourself, and the fact you run the "We Raider fans are smart. Go check out my "articals" (yes, laughing my ass off at that) but to be quite honest, I have a feeling you really are a dumb kid.

Look at the following sentence YOU posted: "go watch some tape and another posted comment tells you one of the games he did it in, who says he played QB."

I have NO idea what the hell that's supposed to mean. I mean, are you drunk? You high? Or stupid. One of the three is definite.

Oh..and the bad news for you? I'm not picking on you, Little Stevey. :) You're easy fodder..if nothing else.

    1. one who cannot write an article cannot comment on an article. the ignorance gets more amazing with every comment. Newberry having an injury has nothing to do with him tipping off the D. and of course you dont have an idea what its supposed to mean when i said go watch some tape etc. All the name calling and nothing to say, typical. Ive seen many Raider haters with better takes than that.

  19. lol, i just had to laugh again. if anyone wants to see the credibility of little Mikey49er go to his profile. no articles, so in order to comment about him they did it on the short list. i loved Andres comment, about him coming on over to Raider land we will take autistic fans too, lol. Classic simply classic. and not one positive comment for him. hes a lonely Raider hater. his mommy must have done him wrong as a boy. is little mikey lonely looking for attention. you know post an article and you might get some. Its actually quite sad. Hey mikey heres what a comment looks like w/out all the name calling. Mikey fears posting an article cuz he knows hes got no insight. Hes about as deep as a layer of dew on grass in the morning.

    1. Credibility??? You fool. Some of the LONGEST threads on many if not most Raiders boards are threads I posted, dumbass.
      There's a reason for that.
First is I know what I'm talking about.
Second is credibility means you BACK UP YOUR WORDS.

Zero credibility is what you just exhibited.

Yeah, you waste of literary space..You have gotten challenged by me NUMEROUS TIMES, including above. Your stupid takes got shredded by Raider fans and myself. Instead of growing a pair and stepping up and defending yourself, you're reduced to "wah...go look at his profile" Damn, you're like a little child. "He didn't post his BIO..." and the classic topper??? "Look....look...he doesn't have any positive comments for him"

Yeah, I'm honestly laughing my ass off at you. that's why I smack around your defenseless ass. You're easy fodder, Little Stevey.

What's really sad is you not just have nothing in reply, but to YOU, a retort is "Go post a thread so I can laugh at your threads the way you and others laugh at mine"????

      Read that again.

Tell me you HONESTLY AREN'T EMBARRASSED READING THAT AND THINKING ABOUT WHAT YOU SAID.

Now, AGAIN, I posted this to you, little boy. Where you had NOTHING in reply:
      =======================================

See..that's means you have total crap for credibility. Those who have it defend their words. Except for you, and a few others here.

Also pointed out the following, that you, being a wimpish meek tail between legs poster also had NOTHING to say about:
      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, here's another little slap down on you. Weren't YOU the fool who insulted another Raider fan for his spelling, that you couldn't take him seriously? When you use words like "somn" and " artical" not to mention "hes" are you so stupid you don't realize you just crapped on yourself?

      ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wasn't that YOU who insulted fellow Raiders for spelling? Claiming your vast intelligence? When in fact you're a blithering idiot?

Yes, lol..it's obvious why you didn't reply to the above..or to the comment about Newberry, when healthy, being one of the best centers.

      Because you can't.
      Because you're an idiot.

Oh, and that "Be careful what you ask for" thang applies :)

Once football season rolls around, you'll see lots of threads. As I do every year on Raider boards, Ram boards, and Card boards.

BTW..that means squat. NEVER ON ANY BOARD ANYWHERE HAS ANYONE EVER BEEN SLAPPED DOWN LIKE A LITTLE GIRL and replied 'Well..uh....gosh...uh...I have nothing to say regarding everything you just ripped apart..so instead of defending my words, or stepping up..all I have to say is why don't you GO POST A THREAD so I can say something on it"

      What???

DO YOU HONESTLY THINK I WOULD SHRED YOU ON ANY THREAD, whether I started it or not??

      Are you serious??

Let me guess? When I post a thread, you'll rush over, skirt in hand, panties all bunched up, and post "this thread is weak" and giggle and run off??

LMAO..why do I just know, in your mind, you'll feel a little better?

Couldn't actually feel much worse now..could you?

Sure you can. :) You rush around reading posters profiles, actually stating it means something to you.
Makes you a bigger wimp than I thought possible.

      Not an easy accomplishment, considering.

  20. Hey little Mike...why don't you get the guts and write an article like Steve suggests...and can you explain for us stupid Raider fans what makes you think that the 9ers are going to be better any time soon? I love fans like you...take shots are others folks and their teams while not saying or standing up for you own. In a word...LOSER...

    1. Wrong Chetley. I always reply to Niner comments, nitwit.

And yeah, I'll take shots wherever I so choose..especially considering posters like you and Little Stevey are defenseless.

BTW...I call him Little Stevey..and you reply "Little Mike"?? lol.

You think of that all on your own?

Now, why don't YOU challenge me regarding the Raiders or the Niners???

Saying "Go post a thread about the Niners" means squat. You'll just avoid it like the plague..or maybe run your little sniffle, saying nothing.

And again, LMAO at yet another stupid Raider fan thinking posting takes "GUTS".

As I stated to little stevey, you'll be the least of my worries.

Now, just for fun, try and think on your own.

First time is the toughest. Try it anyway.

  21. Both left and right tackles were beaten easily in pass defense by most accounts.

    http://mvn.com/nfl-raiders/2008/06/04/oakland-raiders-continue-to-build-excitement-for-2008/

    1. Frank you still havnt answered my ?s, and what happens if the pass blocking is adequate and we make playoffs, would that not be good enough considering the rebuilding process. be positive my brother Raiderman.

    2. and Frank, the Vikings had the best Oline and Dline in NFL last year and still missed the playoffs. its all about the system. our Oline doesnt have to be the best in NFL just good enough especially having some nice playmakers now with JR and Dmac. their going to make you forget there was ever an oline problem with you.

  22. zzz

    1. since mikey wont understand the zzz coment was for him:)

  23. I said we will if all falls right make the playoffs at 9-7 with the tie breakers get in as the wild card and loose the wildcard game to jacksonville in jacksonville!
    27-23
    I've said this numerous times!
WE spent a lot on all these other positions thats great I'm all behind it, why not on this important one?
The difference is I like Al and Kiffin want to win the WEST not sneek into the playoffs through the back door and loose in the first round!
    Why go half way?
Do you want to loose in the first round or win the west with a chance to have a 1st round bye and host a game in the net?
The Viks arent the Raiders the Vikes didn't spend any money on upgrades across the board like we did did they?
I don't care about what the Vik did didn't or will do!
I care about the team I love and spend my money for season tickets on!

The article is to remind you Cable didn't waive the magic wond yet and turn the pumkin into the all pro just like he didn't with Sims remember?

I've answered numerous questions from you including correcting your misquoted stats!
You don't like the answers and dismis them with out any facts, why would I continue to spend time on showing you your not on top of this?
Why would I spend time proving your statements which lack no fact only opinion wrong when you wont spend time to give me facts why anything I say is wrong?
I just gave you an article that said the tackles were getting beaten easily in pass defense!

    You give me
what happens if the pass blocking is adequate and we make playoffs, would that not be good enough considering the rebuilding process. be positive my brother Raiderman.

Was that suppose to answer the post?
That's why I stoped posting to you but you continue to repost me so if you want we can engage in 2 way communication or I can do as you do run around the board looking for your post and write bull$hi^ after your post!
    Which do you want?

  24. Briefly: Center Chris Morris continues to work with the first-team offense ahead of John Wade. He hopes to replace Jeremy Newberry, who signed with the Chargers this week

    1. this doesnt mean anything right now, did you see the other comments about it. wait till preseason games to see if thats still happening right now its just getting some others work. but hey like Kiffin does whoever does better will get start, and if he does great then great.

    2. Have you watched any of Wades pass protection while at Tampa Bay?
I watch a couple of his games from last year and the year before to brush up on him and he got away with a lot of holding calls he wouldn't get away with in silver and black, also he was getting no puss up the gut in the running game. I hope there is more then I seen in those 4 games.

    3. well i believe more in coaching than anything. so im not too worried about Wades ability. but of course if Morris outplays Wade then thatll be a mute point. i like how kiffin makes you earn it. and you gotta love that the first time as a whole team they practiced all out first practice of the 2 a days. your supposed to warm up to the second practice but not da Raiduz, they went after it.

but for me i only look at attitude and progress cuz nothing means anything till we start the real season. the only thing that you can somewhat take from, is the 1st half of the 3rd preseason game. they were saying last year thats when all the starters play for a half for all teams. thats the only best gauge you can assess about a team, but even then you never know. injuries and someone may just tear it up when season starts. but its nice to see good progress. my only concern is getting one good solid unit to build chemistry. i liked how Fargas said that this coaching staff is by far best hes seen.

    4. I like the quote Tui had about how the attitude has changed and guys want to be here and are really working hard to get more wins!
He is in a unique seat because he has stepped away from this team for a year and this went from Norve and Art's team to Kiffin's team this will be the first real year for that and I love the progress he has gotten out of the team!

As I say below I'm not saying wade sucks by any means I think he has the ability to start in the NFL so I don't think he sucks I just was saying he is splitting time and working with the back-ups as oppose to the starters!

      [flag as offensive]

In reguards to this comment I'm not feeling the kry-me-a-river you know that!
Ithink you can start looking at what you have now and ask yourself did I get everthing I need to win the west that is their first goal echoed by Morrison on the NFL channel

  25. for Frank
i guess use this area to post back and forth unless you have a better place. hey sorry if i got off on the wrong foot with you, your a fellow Raider fan and theres enough critics, ala mikey49er, that we need to unite. i understand your concern with wanting a better LT. but my ? before that i think you havnt noticed was that i said why i believe they took Harris over Adams. Cable wants athletic lineman, and from looking at the attributes Harris is alot more athletic than Adams. Adams is big and slow and obviously not good enough for the boys. think about this, if you remember the very first time Gallery came in to play in his rookie season, Gannon was getting killed off the right side. they put Gallery in and he shored it up. then all the different coaching techniques started messing everything up. finally when Kiffin and Cable and co came in they kept it simple, one playing system. Gallery did very well last year. thats exactly how i see it going down with Harris and you should be happy Sims is gone.

if we made the playoffs this year, that would be tremendous considering. this is a building process im not expecting miracles, but i see alot of potential progress. and the same things i said about progress before last year happened just like i thought. its all about building chemistry and keeping it simple. and they are also working very hard, its great to see JRs work ethic and others following. Things are setting up good for us, and im looking forward to a fun season.

  26. Steve I don't want to argue on these sites. I go to them to try to pick up knowledge I don't currently have. I might have gotten Defensive with you but I tried to explain my points logically and back them up with facts. I think you see the changes I see and that's great cause I'm behind a lot of them! I'm really happy with our off season in general and think we made the best of the limited picks we had in the draft. So I think we are deffinatly much improved. I also think we were a tackle away from being 8-8 last year with a harder schedule that's why it made all the sense in the world to get a top LT to protect the franchise this year! Kry-me-a-river is a good run blocker which is good for cables system, this I agree with and we will be better at going wide zone left on the ground now! What I don't agree with is his pass blocking and we can say Harris is a athletic tackle but he is marginally better then Sims. I can't speek for Cable only what I've heard him say so I don't know if he would want Harris over Adams if he does then he is insain! The difference is the winning the west to hopefully sneeking in the back door only to get beat in the first round!
I think we got all these toys for a reason!
Al said Kiffin was brought in to resurect the type of offensive prowless they exibited at USC!
Al said he wanted a coach that was going to call his own plays!
We go out and get 2 Fast Tall starting WR's in Free Agency and add 2 in the draft then invite 3 more in undrafted free agents and get one more back in from an injury last year!
That's a total of 12 when we kept 4 on the roster most of last year!
    84 Arman Shields WR 6-1 195 22 R Richmond Washington, DC
82 Chaz Schilens WR 6-4 225 22 R San Diego State Mesa, AZ
    14 Chris McFoy WR 6-1 200 24 2 USC Chino, CA
    18 Drew Carter WR 6-3 200 26 5 Ohio State Solon, OH
    13 Drisan James WR 5-11 185 23 1 Boise State
    17 Javon Walker WR 6-3 215 29 7 Florida State Lafayette, La.
    15 Johnnie Lee Higgins WR 5-11 185 24 2 UTEP Sweeny, TX
    10 Jonathan Holland WR 6-1 195 23 1 Louisiana Tech Archibald, LA
    81 Marcel Reece WR 6-3 240 22 R Washington Hesperia, CA
    89 Ronald Curry WR 6-2 210 29 7 North Carolina Hampton, VA
    19 Todd Watkins WR 6-2 190 24 1 BYU San Diego, CA
    83 Will Buchanon WR 6-3 190 25 2 USC Oceanside, CA

I like the size and spped i would love to be able to use it!
All of these things point to throwing the ball more then last year and throwing deep!
It would be a shame if we can't do that because of the tackles!
I hope I'm wrong but it's what I see based on the previous performance!

Also I'm not saying Wade sucks by any stretch of the imagination he didn't show wellin those games is all I'm saying but he is a guy that has the ability to start he just is splitting time right now at center and they have given him his work with the back-ups.

    1. hey buddy,

they talked about getting Arman and Chaz because they were good also at being physical for the run game. you know their going after the run all out this year. but you can see by the WRs that were going to have not only big physical guys, but very fast for their size. IMO i think Chaz will surprise alot of people. i think he can be the Marques Colston of our team. his size, speed, athleticism are great combo. and hes got a great attitude, ive already heard 2 people meet him and just rave about what a great attitude he has, plus i saw him on behind the shield.

alot of these WRs we got, are go down the middle of field. which means routes over the middle that dont take much time. i think our run game will open up the passing and allow our tackles to fend off long enough. you gotta understand where Cable is coming from, remember we dont have a say in the matter so you gotta think like they are. and a big problem with Harris was exactly the problems Gallery had before last year, too many coaches telling him too many different things. Its just a fact of life that when you can focus on one area as opposed to all these distractions you fare much better. on this principal alone Harris will be fine. and JR will get the time in many situations to throw downfield. remember JR got into great shape this offseason, hes very mobile. its not like you need to protect for Brady or Peyton. he can roll out alot. and there were many roll outs and lengthy developed plays. like JRs TD against the chargers last game of season, or McCowns TD to porter against broncs 2nd game. This isnt the old days of the long bomb, nobody gets all that time unless youve had alot of years to develope as a unit like Pats, but that remains questionable now too.

Todays game is built on short crossing routes with some playaction deep passes. look at what happened with Favre, he was all about throwing deep then once he did short crossing routes all day long and let the WRs do the work they were SB bound.

and something else you have to figure, other reasons that go into why they didnt get the top Probowl talent Tackles like you wanted. you cant have everything. just sit back and enjoy. Oline wasnt our major problem last year, it was no offensive playmakers and Dline. but i think our Dline will be ok with the secondary additions and some serious playmakers on offense now. Im not as worried about the pass protecting as you are, cuz ive already seen enough to say with more time to work itll be even better and the new additions. last year you just heard about the system where you can plug in anyone and be ok. and the coaches are finding the players for the system, and im sure Harris will fit that.

    2. steve
they talked about getting Arman and Chaz because they were good also at being physical for the run game

      When?

The Chaz went to my school SDSU I know all about the 4.38 timed and 4.34 ran before the individual work out and the 43 inch verticle and I know his college coach LeCharls!
burner is the word and can leap think of Kassim osgood but faster and better leaper will make the team

alot of these WRs we got, are go down the middle of field. which means routes over the middle that dont take much time
does that mean seam rout or shallow cross not sure which you meant?
They will only get 15 yards down the field max before 2 seconds rolls around.

I also don't believe the ratio will be the same as last year run to pass more pass this year then last percentage wise if not we are in trouble and we wont be any better then 8-8

the whole kry-me-a-river thing I have a totally diffent take vs Gallary
Harris is awkward stiff uncomftable in pass protection and has given up more sacks then gallary

Gallary footwork was slow and he couldn't seal the corner against fast DE's plus the short arms means he's that much farther away as the speed guy goes around the end and draws a beet on the QB!
      different problems!

    3. steve you know JR is not real fast right
4.83 40 time at his individual workout also timed at 4.86
all these qb's this year were faster
      Name Time
      Johnson, Josh 4.55
      O'Connell, Kevin 4.61
      Morris, Bernard 4.68
      Tafralis, Adam 4.78
      Flynn, Matt 4.79
      Booty, John David 4.82
      Brohm, Brian 4.83
and all these d linemen were faster
      Name Time
      Howard, Marcus 4.45
      Groves, Quentin 4.57
      Crable, Shawn 4.64
      Gholston, Vernon 4.67
      Johnson, Curtis 4.69
      Ellis, Chris 4.71
      Gatewood, Curtis 4.74
      Long, Chris 4.75
      Thompson, Jeremy 4.75
      and
Blue Hen Rich Gannon -- the 2002 NFL MVP -- went in the fourth round in 1987. ... He ran a 4.75-second 40-yard dash at the combine

    4. you gotta understand where Cable is coming from
How do you know where he is comming from?

and there were many roll outs and lengthy developed plays. like JRs TD against the chargers last game of season
If you watch that play SD set only one ruher from sims side and sims and gallary doubled him they were in a cover zone and chromartie lost him.

Todays game is built on short crossing routes with some playaction deep passes. look at what happened with Favre, he was all about throwing deep then once he did short crossing routes all day long and let the WRs do the work they were SB bound.
Green Bay led the NFL in 40 yard + passes
      5th in 20 yard + passes
      only had 19 sacks

and something else you have to figure, other reasons that go into why they didnt get the top Probowl talent Tackles like you wanted. you cant have everything. just sit back and enjoy. Oline wasnt our major problem last year, it was no offensive playmakers and Dline
We had spent the money allready on dline and wr's and flozel was avalible!
It still makes no sense to get speed wr's to dink and dunk why get possesion recievers if thats what they are doing I don't buy it

    5. the packers may have led in 40+ passes, but the catches were made well before going 40 yds first. most of their best gains was about a 10yd slant down the middle and the WRs would go off for more. if you heard about their style last year, they talked about it, it was built on getting rid of the ball and letting the WR do the rest. and if you noticed at end of season, he started launching it in a game and was doing terrible again, and i said what the heck are they doing going away from their gameplan that worked.

so you went to SDSU too, its my alma mader. thats funny.

i dont know where you got that time for JR but hes much faster than that, thats a false stat. plus hes in good shape now, more mobile. and i believe that time was done before he got back into shape. i wouldnt buy that time for a sec.

it was after the draft when they talked about Chaz and Arman being good physical guys in the run game not just some burners. Chaz is faster than Osgood, and he doesnt even start for the Chargers.

all in all im looking forward to this year, much more than last year.

    6. Steve that was the time JR ran in his pro day at LSU before he was drafted by the raiders and everyone said he's not that fast!

As far as Green Bay I seen some slants but I also seen driver catching a 71 yard bomb over his shoulder for a TD and another bomb to end the Denver game there were 2 in that game.

I know chaz is faster and gumps better but stong body reciever

Os doesn't start yet but he will soon a very concentrated reciever.

      Do you know LeCharls?

      Are you in San Diego?
Or did you meet your wife there that she's a Charger fan?
      Do you have kids?
If so you can answer the age old question what happens when a Raider fan and a Chargers fan have children?

    7. hey Frank do you ever go to espns raider message boards. cuz its easier to converse there. this forum is more just for comments not carrying on a conversation. plus some cool Raider fans there that might have other insight than i do.

but to answer your questions. yes i live in San Diego. My wife actually isnt a dedicated charger fan she just started saying she liked them. shes funny, shes like why cant i be a Raider and a Charger fan at the same time. but she said maybe she slowly come to the Raider nation. shes great though. im also a Lakers fan and at first she wasnt but then she said ok maybe ill like the Lakers now. so next will be Raiders. especially when we start returning to glory land. and she also recognizes the bad referring that goes on. shes getting pretty up on stuff since weve been married. i watch alot of espn first take and she likes the conversations and the idiosyncrisies of some things. shes like its like a soap opera i never knew all the drama that there was. shes becoming quite the sporting guru.

but if you can i would love to converse more on the espn Raider message boards, its a whole lot easier. my name is draiduz there.

    8. Frank, somn i forgot to add about the message board. i get alot of good info from other Raider fans who look up all kinds of different sites. its like instead of doing all the research yourself and you might miss things, all these other guys are doing it for you and you can just look at different things. saves alot of time. and one guy serious7 is always putting up stuff from different sites. alot of these things i tell you arent just me, theres alot of others that see it. its cool though. im sure theres alot of guys who have seen Wade and stuff that you were wondering.

  27. If you would bet on newberry's knees holding up, then u lil mikey are even more of an idiot than you sounded like before.

Now we know it must be hard seeing ur #1 overall QB busting before your very eyes... Hilariously pathetic LMMFAO!

    1. You're new at this, aren't you Kevin?

Who said his knees are holding up? Read up first before you set yourself up to get slapped around.
I stated, quite clearly, even for people who are 'slow' that the Niners let Newberry go because of his consistent knee problems. That is was his knees going out IS WHY THE NINERS..AND ULTIMATELY THE RAIDERS let him go, NOT because of what the idiot Little Stevey stated, which is he was telegraphing the snaps.

Not sure who appears dumber right now...you for that weak read, or Little Stevey for getting called out by yet ANOTHER RAIDER FAN for having zero credibility, who doesn't have the balls to defend his words.

You?? So far I haven't seen any words..except for the above idiot reply.

Way to go, lol...one and done.

Now you guys know why Raider fans get laughed at??

      It's hard not to.

    2. So mike while I'm here what do you think of the niners chances this year?
will nolan be the coach next year?
will the niners find a run d?
will alex or sugar hill be the qb?
will you win more than 8 games?

    3. Newberry moved the pile and is a local guy I had no problems with him as the anchor!

  28. Not really seeing as how Newberry played in almost all games last year. Looks like Al outsmarted the forty whiners agian. The only people trying to laugh at Raider fans are the pessemisticly disgruntled forty niner fans that try to make everybody look stupid to over compensate for there own stupidity.

Your fans are cowardly and as soft as a grape in the sun. You hate us because deep down you love us, because we have substance which makes all other teams, fans and even the media hate us.

Now have fun watching your ex franchise quaterback put his final touches on his bustationess.

    LMMFAO

    1. kevin it goes deep then that remember alot of 9er fans are ex-raider fans that jumped ship when al when south for the winter!

Mike could be one of them but I'm guessing not too bitter he has the true 9er loosing ingrained in him!
Remeber besides the success they enjoyed under EDDIE which Al talked into buying the 9ers and BILL that AL recomended They hire they have as much potency as the Giants in San Francisco which is none!

Not really seeing as how Newberry played in almost all games last year. Looks like Al outsmarted the forty whiners agian.

Mike49er: Again, you're confused. You wake up like that, or is it a goal? YOU posted the comment about "betting on Newberry's knees being healthy". After I informed you that comprehension isn't your strong suit, you then state Al got over the Niners because he signed yet another Niner outcast that the Niners didn't need? lol... Newberry sat there, where no one wanted him, for the exact reason the Raiders got rid of him, and signed someone to replace him. Like I said, dumbass, you're new at this.
You state it was a coup to sign a player THAT YOU CUT AFTER ONE YEAR???
    Yes, you're a friggin idiot, aren't you?
Hell, when was the last time Al Davis did anything that wasn't laughed at? Can you find archives that old? Last time Al Davis saw a Super Bowl ring was OVER A QUARTER OF A CENTURY AGO, dumbass.
The dinosaur is right where I want him to be...continueing to make all the calls in Oakslum, while bringing the Raiders into the grave with him.
And yes, fool, your only appearance in the SB in the last quarter century was one that will be forever brought up as one of the dumbest teams ever to take the field at the SB. You will forever be known as the All Time Super Bowl Laughingstock of the NFL.
That will never be taken away, lol...and damn, you deserved it.

Hell...still laugh my ass off remembering John Lynch yelling out "SLUGGO SEAM" at the same time Gannon was.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The only people trying to laugh at Raider fans are the pessemisticly disgruntled forty niner fans that try to make everybody look stupid to over compensate for there own stupidity.

Mike49er: LMAO..little freudian slip there? "make everybody look stupid"??? Is that how you feel? Stupid? Way to go, nitwit. Think about what you just posted, then just say 'Damn...that was dumb. I can't stand that guy".
Yes...you would be right on both accounts, dumbass :)

"Trying to laugh"??? try?? lol...who needs to try? Hell, pick a board, any board..any team..you're being laughed at. You're the clowns of the NFL...the Motley Fools. You guys couldn't discuss the game if your life depended on it. All you know is your little pirate shirt makes you feel bigger than you actually are.

As long as you feel that, Kevy. Hope it compensates for you feeling 'stupid" as you mentioned above.
My money says it doesn't. Stupid goes all the way to the bone.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Your fans are cowardly and as soft as a grape in the sun.

Mike49er: Ahhh..the "bravado behind a keyboard" posting. In other words, you don't just feel stupid, as you made clear, and you don't just feel insecure, hence the "cool pirate shirt..thanks Mom"..but you also feel intimidated.
    Yeah, I can tell.
    ===========================================================
You hate us because deep down you love us, because we have substance which makes all other teams, fans and even the media hate us.

Mike49er: No, I think it's because you slow, stupid, obviously uneducated, and you don't know shit about your team.
Add "wannabee" to your list of faults. Besides the fact that idiot comment made no sense, it also indicates you got picked on a lot, didn't you? Admit it, lol...no shame in copping to it.
My money says other Raider fans also slap you up behind your head, don't they?

Why is it the biggest dweebs and geeks have on raider shirts? Seriously..the shrimps..the midgits...the challenged. Any ideas? I'm sure you have first hand knowledge?
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now have fun watching your ex franchise quaterback put his final touches on his bustationess.

Mike49er: Who's your qb again? OH YEAH...that guy who looked like total crap last year..missing badly...turning over the ball.

Hell...someone stated that it was one of the worst outings they had seen by a qb, and that it was completely unacceptable.

Who was that? OH YEAH....your "Head Coach" for lack of a better term...Lame Marshmellow Kiffin.

Going to honestly be laughing my ass off at two things this year.

Russell going down like a sack of potatoes..time after time after time...and at the slew of Raider fans on this board who mysteriously disappear by week 4.

kevin it goes deep then that remember alot of 9er fans are ex-raider fans that jumped ship when al when south for the winter!

Mike49er: Have said that numerous times. Good boy. You pay attention. Unfortunately, once Al said SCREW YOU OAKLAND, and went to LA where he could then say the same thing to them..the Niners had already completely sold out their season tickets. What many Raider fans who jumped shit had to do was get on the 18,000 people waiting list to buy tickets to see the Niners.
    What does that tell you?

They switched to the Niners, and once the Raiders came back, they stayed with the Niners.

The MAIN REASON is Geritol Al.
    ===============================================================

Mike49er: First off..as much as I hate the "typo" takes..it's "losing" or "loser" not "loosing". Sorry, but read that so many times from you..so you might as well get it right.

Now, onto your stupid comment. "49er losing ingrained in him'?? The Niners are one of the most successful teams in the LEAGUE, crappola for brains. Hell, if you want to compare teams, the Niners torch the Raiders in every aspect..from SB,'s to playoff games..to records set.

And yeah, Bill Walsh worked for one year as an asst. Obviously Al was stupid for letting him go, considering that once Walsh got to Cleveland, and was under Brown, Brown immediately saw how bright Walsh was, and turned over a lot of the operation to him. Al?? He didn't see squat.
Of course, Al wasn't looking, was he?
Hell, maybe in retrospect, Al DID SEE THAT WALSH WAS A GENIUS, and considering Al resented Gruden for running the Raiders the way Gruden wanted to, no WAY IN HELL would Al allow Walsh to upstage him.

Instead, Al let Walsh leave, where Walsh then went and created a dynasty, while the Raiders fell into a canyon and have remained there for decades AND DECADES.

Whether Geritol Al didn't see the genius in Walsh, or whether he did and was too insecure to have a genius on his staff...both are some of the dumbest decisions an owner in the NFL has ever made.

Hmmm...LMFAO...right about then started the Raiders downfall..where stupid decision after stupid decision was made by Al.

In other words...BECAUSE OF THE NINERS BILL WALSH, THE RAIDERS ENDED UP BEING AND REMAIN BEING THE LAUGHINGSTOCK OF THE NFL.

    Yep, :) Classic.

BTW...Eddie D had already made the decision to hire Walsh, even though some stated they didn't know if Walsh had it in him. Eddie D called numerous people in the NFL who worked with Walsh, including Al, who said what most said, that Walsh was very sharp. What no one knew is if he would be able to run the complete show.

Obviously not only could he do it, but he did it better than anyone ever has.

Way to go on not seeing Walsh's potential, Al..lol...just another nail in your coffin, Old Man.

    1. BTW...Eddie D had already made the decision to hire Walsh, even though some stated they didn't know if Walsh had it in him. Not the way it went down Al called Eddie and told him about Bill!

eddie was a first time owner he only knew Al in the NFL!

This tells me you have revisionist history the 9ers where not selling out the stick infact they didn't come close to selling out the stick for the catch which everyone claims they where at?...................LLook up bandwagon fan and you will see the 9ers sitting on their hands at a game!
I've witnessed this it's pretty funny!

So mike while I'm here what do you think of the niners chances this year?
Mike49er: Still need a pass rush. That fact alone has killed us last few years, and will again this year.

will nolan be the coach next year?
Mike49er: 9 wins and yes, any less, likely not. Any less then he should go. Had long enough, and he torched the handling of Smith last year after his injury. That alone should have gotten him fired.
He, like your idiot owner, made personal decisions. Those that make personal decisions in the NFL are doomed. Good thing for us is we can get rid of our problem, if need be. The Raiders are stuck with theirs. Yep, lol...Al is going no where, and neither are the Raiders.

will the niners find a run d?
Mike49er: Well, we were 22nd against the run, so we have lots of room for improvement. I guess the only thing we can feel good about is that we're not the Raiders who were 31st AGAINST THE RUN.

will alex or sugar hill be the qb?
Mike49er: Easily Smith. Nolan was just being a dick when he tossed that out there, kind of a payback for Smith going public with how bush league Nolan was regarding his comments about Smith's injury.
Smith should have never played after the injury. the fact Nolan stupidly said "It's not the injury that is the reason for Smith's struggling play" made him look like a complete fool once Smith had to have surgery for that same injury. Hill is a nice surprise, and I'm happy knowing we have a solid backup as qb.

Unfortunately for the Raiders? You have NO EXPERIENCE at qb. Your backup to your rookie qb is either a guy that was 4th in your depth charts last year, OR a guy that the Raider had ride the bench for a handful of years, before finally letting him go.
Now, lol..THAT has to be scary.
Seriously..Russell goes down after Kwame lets yet another defender fly by..and who IS YOUR QB???

Honestly...are you HAPPY WITH WALTER? TUI???

    Admit it, you're screwed.

will you win more than 8 games?
Mike49er: Wouldn't bet a lot of money on it. Another solid WR and a DE and I would say yes. At this point, depends on how well Martz gets the offense learning his system.

One thing I do know is we won't be predictable like last year.

    1. will the niners find a run d?
Mike49er: Well, we were 22nd against the run, so we have lots of room for improvement. I guess the only thing we can feel good about is that we're not the Raiders who were 31st AGAINST THE RUN.

      3.8 to 4.8 1 whole yardper att!
They both sucked at run d!
however, that 1 yard per avg is not a fair comparrision because we played better running teams then you did.
So they are pretty even in run d all and all so back to my question!

will the niners find a run d?

    2. will nolan be the coach next year?

What I asked was you opinion on if he will not perameters on him staying or going!
Do you think he will be the coach next year of the 9ers?
I say no! 5 wins is all he will muster!
I say this based on you div is better and the 9ers aren't
The rams had a ton of injuries won't happen again
Arizona is finally ready to be better then avg in a week div
      Seahawk own this div.
      9ers win 2 in div!
and get three out side div.
miami the jets and maybe the saints or lions

    3. will alex or sugar hill be the qb?

I somewhat agree with this but think with 55 sacks they will have to go to the #2 in either case so I'm with you on Smith to start but I think he will get hurt again and sugar hill to the rescue!

    4. Unfortunately for the Raiders? You have NO EXPERIENCE at qb. Your backup to your rookie qb is either a guy that was 4th in your depth charts last year, OR a guy that the Raider had ride the bench for a handful of years, before finally letting him go.

JR is unexperienced but so was rothlesberger and brady
JR has his head in the play book and all reports so far are good early still we need to get to live drills where the QB can be hit to see the progression I say we give him a pass untill then!
Walters is the #2 that is the fact!
The Raiders did the same thing with Plunket after he was beat up and lost some confidence it worked out to two superbowls and that didn't suck! Walters was basically redshirted last year and looked ok at greenbay considering our starter sucked!
The kry-me-a-river worries me but with sims we gave up 14 less sacks then the 9ers and with Marts and his no prtection scheme it could be 65 this year who is your number 3 I bet you know his name well this year!

    5. will you win more than 8 games?

valid point ut the sacks as previously posted will come in droans!
I think 65 10 more then last year I predicted 5 wins 2 in div and 3 out!
I see you knowing O'Sullivan, J.T. real well
      I don't like his fumbles!
