Moncrief's Injury Deprived Luck of Valuable Target
Moncrief underwent offseason surgery to address turf toe issues, per the Indianapolis Star's Stephen Holder, which made his 2015 output all the more impressive.
After posting 32 receptions for 444 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie, Moncrief nearly doubled his production in every key category despite dealing with nagging toe pain and injuries to starting quarterback Andrew Luck. Over the course of 16 appearances, Moncrief posted 64 catches for 733 yards and six touchdowns.
"His impressive size and athleticism combination, along with his improved route running, has allowed Moncrief to develop into one of the most promising wideouts in the league," numberFire's Jacob Gibbs wrote.
