Andrew Bogut Injury: Updates on Warriors Center's Knee and Return

Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut suffered a knee sprain and bone bruises in the third quarter of June 13's 112-97 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals. He would not return for the remainder of the series.

Bogut Remains Valuable Role Player for Warriors

Bogut is a secondary contributor for the defending champions. He averaged 5.4 points and seven rebounds per game during the regular season while playing 20.7 minutes per contest.

The 31-year-old Utah product accumulated an extensive injury history during the middle portion of his career. He's held up better in recent years, playing at least 67 games in each of the last three seasons. He has missed time with various minor ailments, including a rib issue and a strained toe this year. He also dealt with an adductor strain during this playoff run.
