Well its that time of the week again, when the big guns of Europe face each other in the most fought after club trophy in the world.

The Champions League brings together some of the greatest clashes, and even when newcomers Wolfsburg are up against three time winners Manchester United, there's a contest to be won.

United having won the last seven game will look to continue the fine form, Wolfsburg will be playing away at the Theatre of Dreams with seventy odd thousand people behind the Red Devils.

Last night saw Liverpool crash to Fiorentina, Inter draw away to Ruban Kazan, but United will have an easier task, with home advantage on their side.

Looking at the United squad, the likes of Wayne Rooney, Anderson and Giggs could play a big role in a success full victory whilst the defensive duo of Vidic and Evra could have a major impact.

Vidic has become the heart of the United defense alongside Ferdinand, while Evra has emerged as one of the best left backs with his darting attacking runs and crosses into the opposition box.

The United defence will be weary of the threat that Obfemi Martins poses, the former Newcastle striker will be relishing a return to England.

Wolfsburg also have a Brazilian marksman in their attack, Grafite who scored a hat-trick in the opening Champions League encounter against CSAK Moscow.

But after looking at the strenghts and weaknesses of both teams, it seem the Men in Red will pose a much bigger threat especially when playing at home.
