The day was April 20, 2013. The location: Boston's beloved baseball stadium.

In a hair-raising tribute that remains ingrained in the city's memory, the Red Sox designated hitter paid tribute to the victims and survivors of an event that will live on in history, that being the Boston Marathon bombings.

Now, through Mark Wahlberg's upcoming film Patriots Day, Big Papi's speech will be immortalized—authentically.

According to the Hollywood Reporter's  Tatiana Siegel, Wahlberg recruited Ortiz to re-enact his unforgettable address—one so powerful, it prompted the FCC to pardon the use of the F-bomb—and despite his packed schedule, the soon-to-retire slugger won't miss the opportunity.

But before Ortiz attempts to recapture the emotion of that moment, be sure to relive the original chill-inducing speech.
