Saturday's game against TCU started off promising.  There was no rain, we were up 10-7, and the stands were as loud as ever.  Unfortunately, right as the clock ran down to halftime, the sky got a little darker and the rain started to fall.  It quickly began to pour and many just found shelter around the concourse during halftime. As soon as the players came back on the field the fans went back to their seats.

I was standing on the hill, which by this time was pretty nasty, but there were so many people still there.  At last week's game, after the first rain delay, everyone cleared out and there was so much room.  I guess this week was different because we were playing such a good team, and winning to top it off.

The referees made a few unfair calls throughout the last half of the game and the student section clearly let them know how we felt.  All around me people were chanting "Bullshit" over and over again, but that just got us even more riled up.  The student section was not quiet for one minute during the game.

During kickoff we jump up and down with our hands in the air to the song playing, which became pretty dangerous in the rain.  I slipped and almost caused the domino effect twice during the kickoff chant, but luckily I survived.  I wasn't the only one going down though, I saw a few other people slipping as we yelled for our team.

The thing that struck me most during this game is that even though we were soaked, and I mean soaked (my clothes were stuck to me), everyone stayed until the clock ran out.  It was such an intense game that once we were trailing TCU by four points, all of the fans were anxious to see us make a come-back, which we unfortunately failed to do.

I just think that Clemson has the best fans and I'm sure the players were happy to be cheered on until the end.
