Sharks vs. Kings: Game 1 Live Score, Highlights for 2016 NHL Playoffs
Neither the Los Angeles Kings nor the San Jose Sharks made the playoffs last year, but there was no playoff rust when the two teams met in their playoff opener in Los Angeles.
The Sharks made the most of their opportunities in Game 1, as Joe Pavelski score the second of his two goals early in the third period to give the Sharks a 4-3 victory.
Pavelski scored the goal at the 17-second mark of the final period and the Sharks played tight defense after that to secure the win.
