Real Madrid Transfer News: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alvaro Morata Swap Rumours
Real Madrid are reportedly putting together an ambitious bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyan involving former Los Blancos striker Alvaro Morata.
German publication Bild (h/t Jonathan Green of the Daily Star) has detailed the plan, which involves Madrid first doing business with Serie A giants Juventus:
"Morata is currently playing for Juventus but Real have the option to buy-back the Spain international for £23.5m, having sold him to the Italian giants for £15.8m in 2014.
And the Bild report claims Real will activate the clause before launching a monster bid of £54.9m plus Morata for Aubameyang.

Green also noted how such a deal would shatter any hopes Premier League trio Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have of signing the player.
Aubameyang swatted those hopes aside himself recently, as well as leaving the door ajar for Madrid. During an interview with German source Kicker (h/t the Daily Mail's John Downes) he said: "I've never made a secret of [the fact] I would someday like to play for Real Madrid, but I also have not extended my contract at BVB until 2020 without a reason. I feel very good here."

It's no wonder Aubameyang is happy in Germany's top flight. After all, he's bagged an impressive 32 goals in all competitions at club level this season, according to WhoScored.com.
He's become the focal point of a team suitably geared to complement his lightning pace and intelligent movement. Aubameyang roves along a Dortmund forward line also populated by Marco Reus, a player who can match his speed and help form a devastating duo on the break.
They are joined by Armenian maestro Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who is a prolific creator of chances. It's a talented trio, but Aubameyang may be even more deadly in Madrid's star-studded lineup.
Dovetailing with the awesome pace of both Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale would surely see Aubameyang's already awesome goal tally increase. As a more dynamic centre-forward than Karim Benzema, Aubameyang's presence would also make Los Merengues less reliant on Ronaldo.
But much will depend on picking through the uncertainty of Morata's future. Matt Barlow of the Daily Mail recently outlined Madrid's potential plan for the young and gifted target man: "There is a popular theory that the Spanish giants plan to then sell the 23-year-old to the highest bidder, aware of interest from the English clubs and Bayern Munich."
Morata seems open to either possibility, per the same report: "Returning to Madrid is a real possibility because there's a contract, it was all already written. I just want all of this to be resolved."
But if Dortmund were to replace Aubameyang with Morata, the club would be fitting a different style of striker into their successful playing system. Unlike Aubameyang, Morata is a striker teams should play off and around.
Of course, getting a Spain international and nearly £55 million in cash would be enough incentive for Dortmund to stomach a change in style.
In fact, this is a deal that would benefit both clubs immensely next season.
Madrid would get a legitimate match-winning striker to revitalise their forward line and better suit those around him. As for Dortmund, the German club would earn a staggering profit, as well as the chance to refresh their brand of attacking and give Bundesliga opponents a new set of problems.
