Hey Tim Tebow! Oakland Is Beautiful In The Fall!

OK, maybe we're not to that point yet, but it's pretty close.  And looking to the bench, the depth isn't much better. 

JaMarcus is pretty bad.  It may not be all his fault; he has an offensive line with their best guy out and his receivers are very, very young, but most of the blame still has to fall on him.  He's supposed to be the leader.  He's getting paid quite a bit of money to do it.  And he's just not living up to it.  It's that simple.

That said, what is the solution?  I see the Raiders with 4 options.  If anyone has more, please feel free to chime in.  The first is the most likely: The Raiders will stay committed to JaMarcus Russell no matter what, and if they continue this awful performance, Tom Cable will get the boot and Russell will have to start over with yet another coach.

The second option is look to the bench.  Eww.  Neither Charlie Frye or Bruce Gradkowski are bad people, but it's really got to be up there with the weakest QB depth chart in football today.

Option three: Russell plays, but at the end of the year he's out and the Raiders draft looking at a QB (I'm telling you Tim, the Bay area would be great for you!  I kid...sort of.)

Option four is not a pretty option, but given the current situation maybe it should be done.  It's feasible considering his current situation, as his team won't keep four QBs on.  He'd likely come back, and would probably be treated pretty well by the fans at this point.

So?  Jeff Garcia?  If Al Davis says he's really really sorry, would you come back?

Probably not.  Looks like we're sticking with Thunderchunk.  I hope Chaz Schilens helps.  It's the only excuse for hope I've got left with the Big J.  Otherwise, this season could get uglier. 

I love my Raiders, but the fans are getting restless, the running backs are underutilized, and Coach Cable may be Mr. Cable in a few weeks.  I hope for change, but the Raiders have had the wrong types of change going on for too long.
