This Saturday World Championship Boxing returns on HBO with the exciting action packed match up of heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko vs Chris Arreola live from Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Vitali "Dr. Iron Fist" Klitschko holds the record for highest knock out percentage of any heavyweight champion with an amazing record of 37 wins, 36 KO's and only two losses. Vitali will face off with undefeated rising knock out artist Chris "the Nightmare" Arreola who holds also an impressive record of 27 wins, 24 KO's and no losses.
Arreola is of Mexican American descent and a local Riverside California native who has been making a lot of noise in the dull heavyweight division in most recent years with exciting knock out wins over Jameel McCline, Travis Walker, and Chazz Witherspoon. Should Arreola defeat Vitali he will be the first Mexican heavyweight champion in history.
HBO will televise Klitschko vs Arreola live Sept. 26 (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT) from the Staples Center in Los Angeles following the replay of last week's Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Juan Manuel Marquez fight.
I can personally guarantee everyone that this fight will be probably be the most exciting action packed heavyweight fight we have seen in years. One can almost be certain that this fight will not reach the final bell after the 12th round for these are two of the hardest hitting fighters in the division. Neither fighter backs up or retreats.
