The way Kahlil McKenzie Jr. sees it, football beats education.

Following Tennessee's 45-6 win over Northwestern in Friday's Outback Bowl, the Volunteers defensive lineman tweeted, "That GPA ain't save Northwestern on the field."

It was a sentiment reminiscent to one expressed by Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones in 2012, which he has since demonstrated remorse for:

McKenzie is the son of Reggie McKenzie, general manager of the Oakland Raiders.
