Kolo Toure Is Arranging a Christmas Party for an Orphanage in Ivory Coast
Kolo Toure is giving back this Christmas, reports ITV.
The Liverpool defender helps to support an orphanage in his native Ivory Coast and is looking to arrange a festive party this year.
The facility in Yopougon is home to around 100 children and Toure has been providing financial support since 2012.

Toure told Press Association Sport (h/t ITV):
"I am lucky that I am able to help them. Every month I send money to ensure they can have a good life and I will try to do that as long as I can provide.
We are not perfect but if you can still help people you help them, and I will always help people who are honest and those kids have done nothing.
I think of them as my kids and to provide for them every month is nothing. I love to see them happy, that is most important.
"

Toure, a Premier League winner with Manchester City and Arsenal, joined the Reds in 2013. He has represented his country over 100 times in a 15-year international career.
He says he is planning a Christmas party for the orphanage: "Everything I do on my own and I've never really talked about it but with Christmas coming it is a good time to do something."
The orphanage helps children from a variety of ethnic and religious backgrounds and Toure wants to arrange a dinner to raise more money for the cause.
"I'd like to organise one or two big events, like a dinner, to raise money for a nice place for them to live and invest money to generate more for them," he said.
