Watford vs. Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp Talks Jose Mourinho, More in Presser
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said he was sorry to see the relationship between Jose Mourinho and Chelsea end, and he also apologised to West Bromwich Albion coach Tony Pulis during his pre-match press conference ahead of the clash with Watford.
Mourinho's second spell with Chelsea came to an end following the 2-1 loss against Leicester City, and while the Blues and Reds haven't been on the best of terms in the past few years, Klopp still thought it was a shame, via James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo:

The former Borussia Dortmund man went through a similar situation in Germany, as he struggled tremendously during his final Bundesliga season. Perennial title contenders, Dortmund were stuck in the cellar of the standings for a large stretch of the season, and it was the beginning of the end of Klopp's time with the club.
Klopp made headlines for his refusal to shake hands with Pulis after Sunday's 2-2 draw against the Baggies, and after the match, he made several remarks about the side, which Pulis responded to earlier on Friday, per Sky Sports' Paul Vinnell.
But as reported by Joe Mewis of the Daily Mirror, he didn't have any problems admitting he said some things in the heat of the moment, and he thinks the incident has been a bit overblown.
"I can easily say sorry for everything I said during game. I am very emotional and I think Pulis is similar.
It wasn’t big problem. After the game I wanted to go to my team.
I forgot to shake hands, that’s all.
I have big respect for Pulis’ work. I wanted to go to the players and be with them. What can I say?
"
The manager then turned his attention toward the task at hand. Liverpool will face Watford on Sunday, a tall task given the Hornets' incredible form of late.
Guided by the attacking duo of Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney, they have won their last three matches and currently sit in seventh place in the standings―ahead of the Reds.
Per Liverpool FC News, Klopp knows his squad is in for a challenge, although he won't be awed by Watford's attacking brilliance:
He was then asked about what he believes are the main differences between football in England and Germany, which apparently are minor:
Klopp did concede the Premier League is the perfect place for upsets:
Finally, he came out in defence of goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, who made a big mistake against West Brom that led to one of the Baggies' two goals. Klopp maintains he told his stopper to take more risks coming off his line, and sometimes, that may lead to mistakes:
Liverpool sit just two points off Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the top five, and with the busy festive period just around the corner, a win over Watford would put the Reds in the perfect position for success in the new year.
It won't be easy, as Watford are one of the hottest teams in the country right now—although they haven't beaten any of the top teams during their three-match win streak.
